Did you really remove L/O and V/VI for magic pots from both events? Also, Rosy Road really needs a self reset or something. For lower level players do you really expect them to get 140 Red 10 done 10 times? Are they just supposed to fly through the content the first day and then just sit there waiting for the event to finish? Also, why do Kabam and Armor get 20 days for the same event that we only get 10 days for?

I don’t know why people act like seize stealing makes a bit of difference anymore. I doubt any players are above VIP 5 or 6 so at most you need 20 or so seizes for the one event that they come into play. I personally don’t see the point in seizes any longer since it’s impossible to lose troops. They are nothing more than resource machines, but you once again, don’t need more than 20.

That being said, there needs to be a defender’s advantage when a higher level player pays the penalty and tries to seize a lower level player. The walls and watch tower should definitely come in to play on this. Let’s say there are 8 upgrades that can be developed and leveled every 10 levels of the watch tower or walls increase an additional point is gained is gained by the player.

A few quick examples:

Caltrops: Slow attacking cavalry by 5% per point spent (10 point bonus: add an additional 20%)

Cheval de frise: Cavalry and Pikeman are exposed, increase damage taken by 2.5% per point spent (10 point bonus: reduce speed of all offensive melee troops by 20%)

Advanced Scouting: 2.5% attack and armor to defensive troops per point spent (10 point bonus: shift formation to counter attacking troops)

To the walls!: 1.5% range increase for archers per point spent (10 point bonus: Add an additional 5% damage)

If there is any real interest, I can try to come up with more ideas, but I would like to see what others think.

Just curious but are darks donating 100% gold? I know that is what most Brights tend to do. We pass around resources as needed to BM for this purpose.

I think the army based relic would be a great idea. But, I don’t think it would work unless they find a way to make it so heroes sitting in the relics don’t count as dispatched. …or this would give everyone a reason to start working on a B Team.

Topic: Castlot / Faction Battle Failure 03/22/14

For those who weren’t on, faction battle took all of 5 minutes to clear and kill Blackmore. I do not understand why troop counts were reduced to 100k per node. I am assuming this was meant to be 100m per node.

Regardless, the event was ruined, please restart it with proper troop counts and refund the 5m gold we all spent praying inside the event.

And getting my 4 advanced charms I wasted back as well would be nice… or the 70 diamonds they’re worth…

When you level up, you hear a ding or sound file, whatever you want to call it. The same for your dragon. As I’m sure a lot of people play with many tabs open, it’d be nice if there was an audio cue telling us that something has completed.

I’m not sure how to phrase what I’m thinking precisely but I’ll try my best. With the changes to the cards reverting to apply to all troops/heroes would it be possible to have the troop statistics read-out reflect the whole team and not just the individual hero chosen?

It was the card fix Judge. I know Thumps were impacting the entire team, I’d assume if you were running shelter or fortitude these were applying to all units as well.

Most folks have one of the officers kick them from the league so they don’t lose prestige, make their own league and complete the quest. Or you wait until FB and try to get leather/fertilizer.

I appreciate the vote of confidence, but I don’t have that many seizes actually. The reason I was thinking about the lowest 10 was because a high level can’t take them back. Not without some serious prestige hit for absolutely no gain at least. I just wish there was a way to get more people involved. WW has potential, but can only do so much without player interaction.

@Weirdjudge when someone who stole a couple idle towns is deemed top 3 then I’d say no, Dark’s didn’t participate. They are however, much more active after the event is over so kudos for that!

While I can see both Tom and DonP’s reasoning behind seize stealing, I’d rather see the score of each player advertised. Then we might actually get some people fighting in WW. I’d be down for losing all your lowest 10 cities every time you use a Truce in WW too. Looking at the leaderboard, I don’t think any dark players have even participated in WW this go around.
