Because you only miss 10 badges. For players like me (I miss 300 or 320 badges) that doesn’t make a real difference : one more badge, one less badge… If I missed 10 badges I would surely care about my stats. But I’m far from that.

There’s a big advantage to reach the level cap : once you’re there, you don’t feel obliged to play badged games you don’t like.

I have played here for three and a half years (let’s say three years because I disappeared for six months). I rate the games I play ; I’m not obsessed by badge hunting and I’m not a top player. But day after day, badge after badge, quest after quest, promotion after promotion, a google a day after a google a day, a badge of the day after a badge of the day, I tried and reached the level cap 15 days ago, in a normal way, if I can say so. Not that I’m very concerned about my level or my statistics. But now I have reached the level cap, and I’m a good example for those who argue for a new level cap.
