Personally, I don’t think you should submit art for crits/views that isn’t 100% your own. Especially without giving any sort of credit or reference to the original image.

However, I have amended it for the bajillionth time to now include “no critiques good OR bad” and will be sure to enforce that. Pfff, my art’s no where near good enough for me to have any form of ego. I still have a lot of developing to do. I’m better than I was during my old thread, at least. It was requested of me a while back to make a thread like the one I had a long time ago before a semi-hiatus from Kong sooo I made one. Because it was requested of me. Because some people juss wanna see what I’m up to. Buuutt I take requests, too. I just haven’t really gotten many requests since I only just recently started themsss.

Ahhh, yeah, I don’t really go to the other forums on Kong. I have too many other forums I frequent on a more regular basis. Like art community ones HURHUR.

If you really read everything then how are you still missing the point? I don’t get angry at people not liking my art. I get angry at people not respecting my wishes/rules for this thread. Like I said, I get constructive criticism in art communities I’m a part of buuuttt not here. That’s not the point of this thread. Hence, why I’m not welcoming it here. Aannddd, I CAN tell people if they don’t like it then don’t bother with it because it’s a “gallery” for people that WANT to see my art. You can hardly compare that to raping chilluns. O.o It’s likened more to going to a movie theater and paying to see a movie you didn’t want to watch then complaining about how much you didn’t want to see it but WENT IN, ANYWAY. Yes, yes, much better analogy…

Constructive criticism =/= Harassment

If you want to get anywhere as an artist I suggest you stop being so butthurt over people not liking your art. Otherwise you’ll never improve. When you post art online there will always be someone who doesn’t like your art.

Really, all it will do is inflate your ego and progressively make improving harder.

It clearly states that in this particular thread I am not looking for constructive criticism. I know my weaknesses and ask for assistance elsewhere when necessary. This particular thread is only to share my newest stuff. That is all. The negativity I was talking about was the constant complaining about my thread not following ToS as well as the complaints about my STYLE, in particular (i.e. thick lips). Not looking for everyone to LIKE my art but that’s why they should move along, if they don’t.

If you haven’t been following the conversation the entire time, why jump in now with incorrect assumptions about me and what I am or am not saying/doing? Seriously, you should read the first post, too.

Also, for the record, I consider it harassment when people repeatedly do things in my thread I’ve specifically asked them not to do. :/

BTW, I do want to mention that “butthurt” gave me a giggle. Dig the wordage. XD
