Repetitive. The raging system is used everywhere; there’s no variation. Invasion is grindy and Mystics cannot be fought as often as liked, so there isn’t much player option.

The entire game sets you up for failure. When you first reach Demon Gates, you get your ass kicked by the gate bosses. When you outlevel demon gates, you get your ass kicked by Nahazir. When you outlevel Nahazir, you get your ass kicked by Isendel. Dream World’s circle of life. The only difference bosses is that each one hits harder than the next. Battles should not be won by throwing energy at them repeatedly until the boss dies.

Each boss should have its own behavior. Some things that would be interesting to see:

Bosses that buff themselves. These buffs can then be dispelled by certain skills that have a cool down.

Skills that cause status effects to add more strategy into the game.

Elemental skills/weapons. Certain fights will change how you play.

Skill Trees/Pools. Don’t give everyone all the skills. Let them pick. Each skill will have its own strengths and weaknesses. Stronger skills will have a longer cooldown. Allows the player to mix and match their style of play.

Fights against multiple monsters. Specifically the Hell 2 boss. It would be interesting to fight two bosses at the same time that support each other.

As much as I would love that, to add way waay more diversity to the game, I doubt it would happen. Too much work :(

To say something relevant to the subject. I too have noticed that 21k puzzles solved, but it didn’t bother that much since it was obvious that person cheated. It would bother me if I would find out that people often cheat on leaderboards and use reasonable numbers, for example 2500 puzzles solved or something like that.
So to conclude, it’s wrong to assume no one cares, you can’t make generalizations about anything 99% of time and, as always, cheaters should be punished.

I’m level 92. With heroic I reckon I can solo the hardest boss with +-300 e, so yeah, positron gear is a long way away, that is unless, if I get really, really lucky lol.

Huh? Since when is this game about having fun?! It’s about making correct mathematical analyses and then use the results from those analyses to grind the game the best. Nah jokes besides, more people should live by this rule… It makes the whole game much easier to grind. Don’t worry what others think is the most effective way of grinding, just do what suites you best. ^^
