Display glitch: “Synchronizing players…” (SP) panel doesn’t go away.

I was in PvP queue, looking at alliance console.
Panel opened to ask if I wanted to do PvP. I hit yes.
It went to “Synchronizing players…” and the panel stayed there even though PvP battlefield screen was up.
Surrendered as it was an alliance member, and found the SP panel was still up.

Reloading the PvP queue screen didn’t remove it.

According to Toyyon, it occurs when you get matched while kicking people. (h/t toyyon)

Hi Devs

On a different, albeit PVP-related note, while you’re redoing the PvP engine, could we please have separate toggles for “include own alliance”? This would allow us to PvP people other than our own alliance since most of us are doing it for alliance points and one of the frustrations is waiting a long time for PvP only to find the opponent is in the same alliance.

Actually, how different is this MMO from all other MMOs? Payers always get a boost over F2P – which they should, since they pay for all the costs of developing and hosting a game that is being played free by F2P.

That said, yes, there needs to be a tweak to the random card drop rate and/or the gold rewards cos the grinding is aggravating lol

Absolutely disagree, queue times get so long that I cancel the occasional match because I’m already at d3 of an adventure while looking for a match. PvP just needs more players, keeping people from queuing up again accomplishes the opposite.

The point is to reduce frivolous cancellations. PVP cancellation impacts negatively the ones who may have been waiting in queue already for 10 or more min. It kicks them OUT of the queue, forcing them to requeue.

If it’s an easy adventure, just kill it. You were using the time waiting for a PVP to do something productive, anyway. If it’s medium or hard… why would you start a medium or hard adventure while queueing? PVP is already so hard to come by…

So maybe 30min is too long? 10min? Which may be the amount of time you would need to complete d4 of hard?

Oh, the cancellation penalty should not apply to instances where “no opponent of similar rating was found”.

re: the adv hard d/c, i got the d/c on 8oct 0117 or thereabouts based on the screenshot i took. i’m +8 gmt/utc. not sure when u fixed it but kong is on Pacific time, i think, hence my post is shown as 7oct 1045h?

Hi Devs

Got disconnected after completing an adventure on hard. All rewards were obtained (had 1 additional random card) but it is a little annoying to have to reconnect after successful completion.

Hope it can be fixed soon.

also the filters now are foot troop, mounted troop, foot hero, mounted hero. Since so far foot and mounted don’t really play any role in the game play, the differentiation us useless. I don’t know ofk what you plan for future, just say as of today its needlessly confusing.

Once chat is opened, it cannot be closed!

Do I still get my reward? idk… wasn’t tracking my gold that closely lol

Experienced this more often than I thought I would:

Unable to relogin on disconnect:
If I’ve been disconnected for any reason, I cannot log in again unless I restart the browser. I’ve seen three messages:

1. asks me to disable ad blockers.
2. tells me a server issue is preventing me from logging in
3. no error, just a perpetual “logging in” message

All is fixed if I restart the browser.

Also, refreshing the frame that the game is loaded in doesn’t work either.

Crafting:
Claymore Uncommon uses 3x Claymore Common but
Claymore Rare uses 4x Claymore Common? Should it be 4x Claymore Uncommon?

PVP:
If you are still in the process of targetting the power (e.g. 1 crystal for 2 damage on any enemy card) before the timer goes into “auto-fight in 3 seconds” mode, you are unable to play the next turn as cards in hand can be moved anywhere in the screen but cannot be deployed (the landing zones disappear). I believe the same occurs with abilities that target on deploy.

Thanks for the quick response on this and the Bugs thread.

I’m a little puzzled by the reason you gave. Most other MMOs allow the vice-leader (i.e. Knights, in this game?) to accept join requests. Using the ranks in this game, Knights should also be able to kick anyone below themselves in rank, i.e. Veterans and Members, and promote up to Veteran level and demote Veterans to Member. The Leader of the Alliance holds the greatest powers and are unkickable.

The only major issue I’ve ever faced in the MMOs I’ve played is the issue of leadership change – typically either the Leader leaves and a random Knight (if more than one), or the only Knight in the Alliance becomes the Leader.

One major MMO I played had a system where each member of the Alliance could vote for the Leader, who would assume office upon garnering a majority of the votes. This allowed an irresponsible Leader who leaves the game without any succession to be “voted out” in favour of another active member. Said Leader would then be able to adjust ranks etc. This would be a possible cause of the “security reasons” you cited but I don’t see that here.

Still, we’re enjoying the game as-is, but no leader (who has a life outside of gaming) can be online 24/7 to monitor join requests so having able Knights to help out would definitely lead to a more dynamic and inclusive Alliance. Logging in today, I had thirty-four join requests to go through. Guess it comes with being in 2nd place in the weekly adventure ranks.

Hope you’ll reconsider, Isidro.

I asked my Knights to approve join requests… and discovered they do not seem to be able to do that? May I ask if this will be remedied or will the whole onus of approval rest on the Alliance Lord’s shoulders?

Alliance Bugs:

Bug 1: Auto-Kick without notification
I promoted CRXSS to Knight before logging out yesterday. Today I logged in and he was not in the alliance. There was also no notification of him being kicked or leaving on his own. I found him later in kong chat and he was just as mystified as I was. All his adventure points were, of course, removed when he rejoined.

Bug 2: Promoted to blank
Two of my guys, Heimdalp and Pennst4r, were promoted to Veterans except the Alliance chat showed “promoted to blank”. At the same time, both no longer had any rank in the guild. Instead of “Member”, “Veteran” or “Knight”, there was a blank space in front of their level and pvp displays. I was also unable to perform any actions on either of them – meaning the promote, demote, kick buttons were all greyed out.

Bug 3: Loss of adventure points
Later, heimdalp logged in and did some adventures. He was still in the guild but had a blank in front of his level and pvp display. His adventure points (1,650) were reset and he was left with 150 points. The alliance lost those points too even though he remained in the alliance. We discovered Bug 2 still remained in effect. We tried to fix the bug with heimdalp leaving and rejoining. Bug 2 reoccurred. He left and rejoined again. This time Bug 2 did not reoccur and I was able to promote him to Knight successfully. Pennst4r has not logged in as of this writing so we have no way of knowing if Bug 2 will reoccur with him – although we suspect it to be so.

Hope you’ll be able to resolve these issues soon, Devs!

Hi gamers!

“TheSilence” is a relatively new, up-and-coming alliance currently placed 2nd in weekly adventure standings.

If you wish to join us, please note that you must

1. have a decent name, not the default one assigned by the server. Otherwise it’s kinda tough to address you in alliance chat.

2. be at least level 30 in order to join (this level minimum may change in future). If you’re joining an alliance just for the quest, I’m sorry but there are other alliances with no restrictions. Just take a look around.

3. be active in adventures every day – we’re not too particular about how many adv points you score (this may change in future) but failing to meet 5% of the weekly target means you don’t get to enjoy the weekly reward pack.

4. If you’re going to be absent from the game for more than a day, pm me on Kong. When the inactive counter hits 2d, that’s an auto-kick.

We’re here to have fun and enjoy the game but we do ask a bit of commitment so we can all grow together. That’s about it, I guess.

IDK what your issue is, but fact of the matter is, the T&C did not include “Promo only available in US” when the ad was launched. Which, if you had exercised some of that understanding you claim others lack, meant that a whole bunch of people downloaded this and wasted some time on it in hopes of getting Kreds for some other Kong MMOs they do play.

As for the other free Kred promos, whether these people use them or not is immaterial to this discussion about the free Kreds promised them and later retracted.
