What's the best MMO ever?
The best I ever played is the kind of unique mix between MMO and Magic the Gathering, the free brower based Estiah .
Here is a quick description…
bq..
Some thoughts:
1) It is action point based, so this is a “play a little bit each day” game.
2) Very solid sense of progression: attributes, skills, levels, the whole nine yards.
3) PvP and PvE combat is decided by cards selected at random from a deck you specify. Strategy lies in picking your deck since you can’t affect things once the battle is initiated.
4) Some player interaction in the form of raids, group PvP battles, and guild battles.
5) This is a surprisingly deep game. If you have a short attention span, you have been warned.
6) It is well and truly free. They take donations, but you can’t pay money to get an advantage over other players.

Monster's Den
You can use the healing orb once or twice per level (but it cost you some points in your rating everytime), or you can go back to the level’s entrance, once per level.

MMORPG'S
This is pretty good.
It’s called Estiah, it’s browser-based, created by two indy devellopers and constantly evolving. It’s basically an MMO based on a CCG-system, you go through dungeons and other places seeking for cards (called charms), making you a deck (called gear) and pwning monsters and other players with your creations. Pretty good, and interesting both at low level and after the level cap (good PvE and PvP contents).
Enjoy.

Desktop Tower Defense 1.5 Challenge
Well, if you want to compare to other “no juggling”, try no-selling mode, it exists just for that purpose…

The Game That Literally Never Ends
Originally posted by Tasselfoot:
I read very little of this thread. But let me respond to it, because I spent a lot of time talking to greg about all of the badges for this game.
First, let me say something… 4 badges just isn’t enough for the game. There is too much content. The game is too long. The game merits / should have about 10 badges. 3-4 hards, probably 1-2 imps. But Kong can only do 4 badges, so greg had to work within a 4 badge hard limit.
So we ends up with an easy and a medium badge earned in a couple hours, and we add a ‘checkpoint hard’, wasting 3 out of 4… brilliant. The badges on GC0 should go as the lvl 50 one on medium, keeping the complete-GoE one as an hard and making the TiTGTNE an impossible demanding to get all amulets or someting along those lines (throw in an easy demanding to make a lvl 7 gem or whatever if this game really needs an easy one).
Anyway, I was wondering… there is absolutely no way that badges change once they’re set up, right ? Is there a chance that all this weening led up to something ? :(
