    <body>I respect StarCraft, it really is a great game. My all-time favorite RTS of the pure-RTS genre though has to be Red Alert 2: Yuri's revenge. I'm a fan of all of the Westwood-made C&amp;C games.

My favorite RTS at the moment though is Empire: Total War. I guess it cannot be totally classified as an rTS, but the battles are in real time.</body>

I'll always include instructions for people to read, but this time, I'll make the first mission an outright mission with a few prompts/radio messages delivering watered-down instructions for those that didn't bother reading them. Graphics are not my forte, but I don't work well with artists (nor do I want to pay them at this time).</body>

This would be easy to implement, but might bug the AI (and it's not the system that I'd like to use). 

Another solution would be a never-ending play area, but this would be a bit more difficult to implement and would make the radar impossible to use as-is (the radar is an overview of the combat-area, not a scanner that picks up objects within a certain range of the player's fighter; I personally prefer a full stage overview).

A developer being at a high level would imply that they have contributed to the site somehow.
