Hey, I haven’t been on here in, what seems like months.
So yeh, I’ll just dump any art I do here.
I’ll probably continue to if this thread gets anyone actually looking at it and posting, if not, I’ll probably just let it die or whatever; starting with

I’ll do requests of avatars and such too, but I’m not amazingly active.

Looking much better. Contrast and such looks good now.

Literally, the top-left most part of the tag, just blur, like, a lot.
It is really sharp and has more contrast than the focal, which is distracting. If you don’t know where I mean, ask, and I’ll circle it or something :L I didn’t explain that well

Personally, I prefer the one on the left. It just looks more appealing because the lines are smoother and the shading is cleaner.

Looking much nicer.

Lighten the face slightly so it stops the text stealing the focal.
And move the text down a touch, so the ‘I’ is near/underish the hand.

Only thing that would still look wrong after that would by the C4D in the top left, which is still stealing some attention as it is a bit brighter than the others.

Probably just me, I don’t really like the one-colour style.

Tag 1:
Nice compo, basics etc.
C4D in the top left it distracting, blur it, or smudge it, or something.
Sharpen face slightly
Full B+W, then increase contrast.
Add some lighting, atm it is a bit boring, as it is flat.
I can’t tell how good the text is, because it steals the focal atm due to being colour.

Tag 2:
Focal is unclear, because you appear to have moved it to the hand, which is interesting, but leaves the face trying to steal the focal.
Sexy effects btw ;)
Again, the colour annoys me.
Compo is a little weird, I’d move the hand (render, whatever) up more, which might also help stop the face stealing focal.
Add some lighting.

Removed chips, sorted out/cropped out top-right (the tag was oddly balanced so I just cropped), and fixed up some effects.

Oboe_Passion!! Woo, I do hope you’ll be posting more regularly? :D I can only remember your amazing avatars and such.

You look like you have a few parts where your pen work is a bit weak, and there are gaps. Try using a better pen, is all I can say really, I don’t do this sort of art. Keep it up I guess?

Good focal, nice effects, all that jazz.

Try strengthening the lighting near the lightsource to make the focal a bit stronger, and also the piece more interesting and less flat. A few shadows could be stronger too. (In other words, more contrast throughout)

I really don’t like the black blur on the left side. Crop it or, or better, just remove the black.
Unsure if I like the text. It is a bit distracting, so I’d remove it.

I’d try make it a bit more obvious that you actually edited the gun, instead of just added a BG. I’d also remove the BG altogether actually, and the text, because they look newbish.

Try to work on something a bit more complex, at the moment you are doing fairly basic photo manip, which is good, but a limited skill that could probably be used much better.
