It’s universal in BTD games that the later rounds give less cash per pop. The traps still double the money of the bloons caught so you’re not losing any money by emptying the traps, it’s just that each bloon later on is worth less in general.

The 3 right path upgrades increase speed by about 1.6x the previous upgrade, from x/0 to x/1 to x/2 to x/3. Spiked mines (4/x) have slightly more than double production speed.

Unless a DDT makes it through at least 2 2|3 spike factories, it’s not a bug and your defenses are just inadequate. DDTs are as fast as pinks, and it’s possible that they have smaller hitboxes than apparent so projectiles that don’t do splash damage may actually just miss. The CT map is kind of short so you should compare on the same map in normal games. They have enough health that you’d need more than 10 maulers to pop them reliably. They’re also innately black, i.e. immune to normal explosions without an x|3 village.

Spike, you seem to misunderstand. It’s not deflation from the start, but only when the normal waves are over to enjoy some popping and see how effective your strategy would be for longer games while getting some extra city cash for gratuitous progress.

Limit nukes to 1 per game. Reasoning: compare with super repeater, and see how the former requires cheaply little skill to be super effective. Even without the rad, should it get detoxed, a single 80 damage blast with huge radius is already above most weapons in the game.

It’s multiplied by fraction of human opponents, not humans divided by number of bots. So 2 humans and 1 bot opponent gets multiplied by 2/3, all humans 3/3 or normal rewards.

As subignition said, it really doesn’t matter since the scaling of prices doesn’t change. Speaking of efficiency, just buy which is more affordable first: the next x100 of a business or the cost reduction. Before you hit a wall the order doesn’t matter. By the way, it’s 99.999% cheaper instead of 99%, which reduces cost to 0.001%; 1000 times cheaper than 1% or 100 000 times cheaper than the original.

A beam weapon with a moderate width (about a unit’s height) that pierces through and damages everything in a straight line, only blocked by shields, suns and black holes. Maybe a blue laser that goes through bounce shields and a red one for dissolve shields. After a certain distance proportional to the accuracy of the unit that shot it, the damage decreases with distance but it will still damage planets and detonate energy cores at 0 damage.

Not a game-breaking bug but more of an annoyance: the preview line assumes bounce shields to have 3 bounces left even when it’s less, but with planet shields when the bounces would be used up the preview line goes through. I messed up a couple of sniper shots because of this. (I’m not used to the shield’s thickness indicating whether it has either one or two bounces left.)

Bouncy planets mod: Planets’ surfaces reflect all projectiles as if they have a permanent shield. By default, planets can still be damaged by indirect explosions. That way we can (sort of) play pinball and maybe reduce wasted misfire turns.

For an early custom, it’s a good idea to get the attribute(s) you don’t already have on other weapons or weapons you don’t feel like buying such as detox or fire. My first custom was a detox which evolved to detox + heal but now I’m using a cluster multi-shot/repeater just for fun.

Wraparound mod: Every point on the huge dotted boundary circle around the map would act as a wormhole that warps things in from the opposite side.
If it hasn’t been mentioned before, this game could use a co-op mode where we fight the AI, for example campaign bosses that specialize in certain weapon types or something; because teaming against others make people rage.

Planetary decay mod: The explosion craters on planets would increase their radius by a small percentage each turn, more if the planet is irradiated.
Loose orbit: Explosions can move planets slightly based on their sizes. If two planets collide, their contact point explodes like a real collision.

For the simplest calculations, just aim for a suitable price to current hero DPS ratio (since you will be aiming for the x4 bonus, small additions are negligible) and level up the cheapest heroes in multiples of 25 with respect to that. For me, I set 10x level cost to be less than 10,000 times DPS before advancing the next 25 levels, which is quite manageable with the usual energized dark rituals. You might need to get used to the suffixes but you never have to reformulate for gilding.

Considering the x10 bank profits would increase total profits by about 90%, maybe when around 4.5 tredecillion angels at least. But that’s only profit-wise; gaining back almost half your angels would take around 2.25 times longer than the first time. It’s probably better to wait until (1+2tredec./n) 2 <1.9.
2 tredecillion angels should be at most ~38% of your total, if it’s the first time you buy the upgrade, i.e., at 5.2 tredecillion angels or more.
