This was my first thought when I saw it beside the other icons, I’m not sure I want to remove the edge all together but here’s an alternative:

If I maybe changed the outline to a gradient that goes from semi-transparent around the edges to invisible in the middle + up the centre of the narrow part, that should fit in perfectly with the other icons so far, I will do this when I have more time!

I will post updated swords in a bit, along with a few additional icons.

I definitely intend to make use of particle effects in-game to emphasize things like the ice mist (additionally, leaves and flames would respectively fly out of the other 2 swords when attacked with)

EDIT:

(Handles improved, altered the ice sword, made the fire sword more fiery, + added bow’n’arrow, potion and thunder sword)

Onyx and Scaled swords are a possibility; the idea behind these current swords is that you have the regular sword (left) which one of the characters will start with. You then go on to find certain items in your quest that can be combined with the sword to get one of the other 3 (+ more hopefully)

I will work on the ice sword! It was essentially meant to be gas (think of liquid nitrogen.), I’ll add icicles as well.

Good introductions, solid coherent structure, interesting sounds. These would do well as game music!

The best thing you could do to improve them would be to make them longer, although as loops they’re fine.

Brainstorming really is the way to go with conjuring, developing and enhancing ideas; if you’re really stuck you can always draw inspiration from other artists.

Yeah I’ve also tried it by removing my head and arms, players in-game see whiteness despite it appearing transparent on the preview.

rigariga, in response to your post on the previous page, please bear in mind that I stopped accepting new Kongemon designs at a certain point in the thread (but left it for people to design them for fun), if you haven’t made stuff before a certain page (15-17, I can’t remember exactly) then it probably wasn’t going to be included in the list anyway.

That’s now irrelevant though since this project is very low priority, I have a lot of other things on my mind and games with much better potential to work on, but I may eventually revisit this, as I said some time ago though, feel free to keep designing stuff but please take it in to account that I won’t have a use for it any time soon.

And yes, this is absolutely the right place for making these sorts of requests! However your request is quite elaborate and it might take people a while to accomplish, I may post back with a sketch to see if I got the right idea but I seriously doubt I will be able to complete it.
