I think they are,
there is no purpose in playing them first of all, what will you gain from them? The motor skills excuse isn’t much. Now I don’t think shooting people in a video game will make you more or less aggressive; but what do you think is a healthier choice for you child, shooting games, or something constructive or outdoors?

Once you got Java down I see that as3 and as2 are easy after looking up tutorials, Java is easier than I thought once you get the hang of it so maybe one day you will see me posting as3 programmer looking for team :P But that is probably going to be years.

Hello everyone what is a good website and/or book to learn AS3 and AS2? (those ARE the flash programming languages right?!). And is implementing these languages into adobe flash challenging? I know lots of Java but it seems like AS3 and 2 are pretty darn different.

I am a really beginner programmer but I was hoping someone out there will let me get advanced by accepting me in their team. Again I am pretty beginner, the most hardcore thing I can do is do some subtracting numbers which will output the outcome.
