I’ve noticed the same thing. When I click on someone’s profile and click the “Chat” tab at the top to return to chat the scroll defaults to the top of chat.

I completely agree with Lax. Not only that, some people just use FtD as a room to pass through when their regular room is slow, because they know Feed the Ducks is usually fairly active and the room is pretty friendly for the most part. But hey, look at it like this – if you need a mod you know where to find one.

Thanks! I’ve been working with my own uncompressed version (reformatted and indented of course). This is MUCH better because not only are the objects split into different files, but the variable names are actually descriptive in these files!

How about a mod page? This is related to arcaneCoder’s mod thread. Instead of a forum thread listing the mods that has to be constantly updated, how about a database driven page that shows all the current mods sorted by online status then alpha by name. For the mods that are online maybe it could show what room they are in or whether they are AFK (assuming Kong keeps track of idle time). Maybe even a “mod status” where the particular mod could choose to be “available” or not. Mods got to play games too!

A page like this would also help users who are in a room dealing with unruly users spamming/cursing/etc with either no mod, or one that is AFK. They could check this page and find out where to go to get help with the problem rather than having to resort to random chat room jumps asking for help.

Try contacting a mod in another room. Head on over to The Van or Feed the Ducks. There are usually mods in either room. If they’re AFK in those two rooms just keep trying.

A cake ISN’T “worth it’s original worth” without icing. You like dry cake? I don’t. Not sure I get your analogy.

I think the whole point of greg’s original post was to ask that people not rate a game based on the badges but based on the quality of the game. Not having a pause (or a Save feature btw) is definitely a problem IMHO and is why I’d rate the game lower than if it had those features.
