Spell factories don’t give any productivity bonus. they give spell slots and mage slots, nothing else.
Mages produce spells faster, but it’s compounding, so at 50 mages, the time to produce a spell is reduced to 0.99^50, which comes down to about 60% of the original time.

there are 4 runes.
+50% attack per level
+100% HP per level
heal every turn (one character, for 5% of their HP per level)
chance to protect (7% per level)

each level of rune used also raises your mana cost to send the team into the cave by 50% (compounding)

What did it for me was getting the Spells perk to level 20, and Attack to around 25.
I used 2 rages and had resurrects on all the other slots and some extra in queue.
mostly my archer and warrior killed the enemies in one or 2 hits, and all I had to do was use resurrect occasionally

I second that.
I’ve reached floor 51, and I have 73k dark mana, and have so far found a grand total of 7 skulls.
Feathers are easy.

don’t use Dark Ritual after beating level 15 though. a few levels onward there’s a spell that gives you a permanent gold generation bonus. get that one and THEN use Dark Ritual

Supreme makes him immune to Stun and Blunt.

Make sure you have enough feathers for a speed up, and get 5 protects, 3 of the reduce armor spells and 2 of the attack increasing spells ready, with 5 more protects and 5 more armor reduce spells in the queue, followed by 10 more protects

cast the protects and attack increases as soon as you start moving towards him, and the rest of the ready spells as soon as you start the fight.
Then cast the speedup and the rest of the armor reducers, and replenish protects when needed.

if you skip an ability, the arsenal overseer will ignore that item and not upgrade it.

applies to everything, as far as I can tell.
the guardians scale according to the warrior’s total armor and cleric’s total heal.

but without the percentage based bonuses, the artifact bonuses shouldn’t be that much of an issue.

as far as I can tell, guardian health and defense don’t scale with your upgrades.
only their attack scales.

they do gain an extra 6% (I think) to ALL stats when you fight them and lose, and that only resets when you Dark Ritual.

Ring of Cure works perfectly.
It affects the Cure spell you have to prepare and cast, not the cleric’s heal, and it definitely heals all 3 party members.

Maybe it could be a true strategy in another kind of game, but it is an idle game. Upgrade = progression, that’s all.

So, since this is an idle game, it shouldn’t have any strategy and thinking to it?
just click the buttons to upgrade mindlessly?
I’m honestly tired of AdCap and Clicker Heroes clones. It’s nice to get one that needs at least a little thinking.

I completely agree with you about the tank issue.
no amount of armor and HP leveling will make him survive even a single hit in lower levels, and he seriously needs an aggro skill.

the “healer” on the other hand, gets several very useful skills later on, that aren’t healing-related, and becomes moderately useful.

It’s not the guardian.
the game has a sort of “sudden death” mode, where after a certain number of rounds (no idea how many precisely) your characters start taking damage each round, ignoring protects and armor.

Did you make sure to choose perks before using Dark Ritual?
If you didn’t spend your dark mana BEFORE using the Ritual, you’ll get nothing from the Ritual

Yeah, currently the game is completely unplayable for me in Firefox. doesn’t even load.
On Chrome, I can get it, but saves, exports and imports freeze the browser for 10-15 seconds every time

first guardian definitely gets more attack when your warrior gets more armor.
looks like he scales to always have higher attack than your warrior’s armor + cleric heal, so you always have to depend on holding on long enough for the archer to get enough pierces.

I must say that after defeating him, I’m extremely disappointed with the skill.
Having double attack on my warrior is completely pointless when my warrior can’t actually damage the enemies…

event artifact adds a chance for a clickable spot to appear in zones.
clicking it gives gems, seems to be 1-3 gems per clickable, at zones 280-360, but might scale higher at higher zones.

as far as I can tell, swords make all of your characters crit on every hit for a few seconds. yellow orb makes your clicks and friend clicks crit, and hearts heal your characters
