New patch and warlord evolve
So it occured to some of us in the chat that the new system for calculating evo bonuses means that the warlords get weak, in comparison to other units.
The reason for this is that when you evo a normal unit, you get the bonus from 2 base units added up, and a smaller (30%) bonus if the “extra” unit is elite.
When a WL is evo’d, you only get the WL’s own bonus and the 30% from the elite material.
So, for example, an elite rare (III) unit evo’d to max would have a total bonus of 800%, while a warlord evo’d to X would only have 200%
The simplest solution to this would be to mirror the WL’s bonus on evolve.
So, if you WL had a 10% bonus before evo, he’ll get 10% from itself, 10% from the mirror, 10% from ME and 30% from elite material for a total of 60%, instead of the current 50%.
for its next evo, the same WL will get 60+60+10+30 for a total of 160%, instea of the 90% it has with the current system.
This lets the WL keep up with elite units, while at the same time not letting it spiral out of control like the previous system
