I’m sorry, you make it too easy for me so I can’t just leave it be. My internet handle of draganviper is correctly spelled however I say it is correctly spelled. It also has nothing to do with dragons, or snakes since that’s how you seem to be reading it. You claim to ‘use spell cheak’ but that’s clearly false since you have so many errors that I’m half convinced you’re doing it on purpose… only half because you don’t seem smart enough for that level of trolling.

You may not like being called on it, but that doesn’t change the fact that grammar and spelling are important. How can you expect to work with people if they have no idea what you’re trying to say?

You probably just need to tweak the numbers to make it work. Keep adjusting them price of upgrades and things until a casual player could reasonably be getting enough for a new upgrade every couple of attempts, no matter how far along they are. It’s very important in these kinds of games to always be feeling some progress, otherwise players give up and quit.

Ok, first off you spelled my name wrong but I’m not really surprised. Second, I’m not a grammar nazi. I don’t point out individual errors and nitpick people while ignoring the content of their posts, the only reason I mentioned it was because all your posts are riddled with errors and you’re supposed to be putting your best foot forward in a thread like this. That you can’t be bothered to clean up your posts says a lot about how much effort you probably put into your work.

Don’t make me laugh with the ‘unappeling as a partner’ thing. Seriously, I almost did a spit take when I read that. I’m not claiming to be some elite developer who’s too good to work with you… but seriously you couldn’t pay me to partner with you from what I’ve seen of this thread so far. I’m probably not the only one either.

Even if you’re highly skilled in vector art you could use inkscape instead of adobe flash.

Embedding .svg files using Flash Develop isn’t exactly a streamlined, simple, glitchless process at the moment as far as I know.

I’d love to be proved wrong though.

Anarchy Online had FMV billboards ingame that played ads. Players tended to avoid those areas :P

At least it was a freemium game and paying players didn’t get ads.

So like alec said, don’t just ignore us and go looking around thinking you’ll just find someone who does know the answer to your exact question, get FlashDevelop which unless you’re specifically highly skilled in vector art is probably the superior tool anyway.

^ You need to grow up. I came here originally to give advice and see if I could help, but the way you reacted just happened to piss me off. Also, it’s a good idea to leave silly attempts at personal attacks out of it especially when you seem so sensitive that you flip out over really minor things.

Oh yeah, last thing. Learn to spell. Unless English isn’t your first language you have no excuse. Even a 14 year old should be able to do that if you want to be taken seriously.

No paperwork, and if what you say about your assets is true you have nothing to worry about. Even if you were obviously committing copyright infringement by, lets say, making a Pokemon MMO or something you wouldn’t really get into any legal trouble you just would need to take it down if the copyright owners ever asked you to.

Definitely. I would give advice about how to treat people if you want them to work for free (and if you only want to offer a percent of profits, that’s still working for free because (a) You’re not going to make any real money at this for a long time, not gonna lie and (b) it’s standard practice to give all collaborators a percentage of any meaningful profits so saying it like you’re making some big offer is just naive and insulting)

Looking at you’re previous games, I would applaud your persistence if it wasn’t for the incredible lack of originality or polish you put into them.

Bla, bla I know you probably didn’t read any of this because I’m not offering to waste my time working for you, but your odds of finding a partner to work with here go down dramatically every time you make a post. You’d probably be better off starting a new account and leaving your old work behind if you want to be respected after this in this community.

I love LoL, but paying money does allow you to amass things like champions and rune pages significantly faster which while not providing an advantage per say, does greatly increase adaptability especially in things such as draft mode (it’s actually a disadvantage to have lots of champions in ARAM >.>).

For future reference, while posting your full code is good, ideally you want to copy and past it between [pre] [/pre] (the brackets are really ‘<>’ style) tags instead of using screenshots. That way, people can copy and paste your code and make modifications easier.

^ We had a ‘day in the life of a professional game developer’ panel today at my college game dev club. It featured 3 people from 1st Playable, and 2 people from Vicarious Visions and they had a lot of interesting things to say. For example regarding game designers, the consensus was it’s more often that an experienced artist or programmer graduates into a designer or project leader than they just hire someone who’s a ‘design purist’ who can’t code or create assets.

^ Those are helpful in the sense that they teach about scope, but they aren’t really dealing with his wish to be able to collide two objects.

OP: context is important, you need to describe where you are putting the code you are using because it matters a lot. If you run the same code in one object as in another object, or in a frame for that matter it’s almost certainly going to not work right.

So, where are you placing this code? Also, if you could post what code you have written that would also help.
