It’s just the gear from the Halloween event that goes to grade 12.
All other gears is still capped at grade 10 (bow, wings, hat, turkey etc).
I hope they change this soon, since they start to get obsolete.

Topic: AdVenture Capitalist: General / Why this Update blows! (V 2.0)

Sadly I think the only way to save the game, is for them to hire a new Interaction design that redoes the complete design for scratch. It will not help just to quick fix at all the things that are wrong with the new version (and there are a lot) the interface will most likely still be bad, since the interface is made for phones and tablets instead of computers the best way to do it is just to forget this version and just start from the beginning.

Have top add some positive stuff to since they been working on this for so long :) I like the retro cartonish style of the and think you should keep most of this in the next version of the game. Also I think you could use the current version as the base for when you do the table version.

Anyway, I’ll will not be playing this version of the games since I consider it unplayable, but I will check back in the forum on and off to see when you release the version 3.0, because that one will be great. Just look at the old version and add some off the new graphical elements and function. I know you guys can do it :)

Oh my god I just found them. Click the capitalist image on top/left, it opens another (hidden…) menu, that you have to scroll SIDEWAYS to get to the export/import options. Like, seriously. What the fuck.

Greetings Capitalists!

Wow, it’s been a month since the last update. That is sucky. I can promise that we haven’t been sitting leisurely by the pool, sipping Mai Tai’s and smoking cigars. Cigars weren’t allowed by the pool.

Anyway – Capitalism humour aside, I wanted to give you all an update on our progress, and what you can expect for new AdCap goodness.

Our first chunk of new content will hopefully launch in the next week. We just have a small issue to overcome that we’re waiting to hear back from Unity about. It’s a bit outside our control unfortunately, hence the non-hard launch date. We’ll hit you with that ASAP once we get it sorted.

We had planned to launch the mobile version of AdCap right away, but we’re actually working out a launch/publishing thingy with Kongregate, so that’s being pushed back a bit. However – we won’t be pausing development on the web, so you’ll be able to get your AdCap fix without waiting. Basically once our stuff is done, you’ll get it here hot and fresh.

Thanks so much for your patience, Capitalists. We’ll be returning to your regularly scheduled Capitalism very soon.

Topic: AdVenture Capitalist: General / Ad Cap Suggestions

Divide the upgrades in to smaller parts so you keep earning them thou out the game.
As it is now you earn all of them to quickly and after that you have almost nothing to look forward to except grinding.
Example: I got all upgrades the day after the last release and it will take me months until reaching the 2000 target.

Instead of having some big x15 upgrades in the beginning and than nothing.
It would be better to have many x3 or x5 that you earn every time you make x100 or x1000 of your current cash.
Since the developer knows how much is needed to gain the current limit it would be easy for them to make it so that you earn the last update once you have 10-20 levels left on the news paper.

Wow so much whining from cheaters in this thread.

And no it was never a feature in the game to slow the boss, it was a bug.
If it was a feature it would be available for all classes.

You should be glad that R2 is nice enough don’t to punish you for the amount of gold you earn while exploiting this bug instead of complaining that you can’t exploit it any more.

And FYI: Yes I play as an archer.

I agree with Tom. We have been waiting for a FB event since December and now that we finally get one it’s over in 5 min and since you toke away the one that was in Januari you kind of owe us one. This problem seams to happen on all servers after all mergers, which made me think that you fixed it, but i guess not. So please make another one next week. Regarding the troop count just take the current one times 1000, it will not be as good as before the merge but it should be ok.

All quest are just set as completed, but not able to claim any of them.

Considering that they have another exchange rate than we have (200sc vs 25sc).
I don’t think their event is much better.

If you have 10k sc you would get the following:

On their server
50 Chocolate
1M Gold
100K Kyanite

Our server
800 Whips
8M Gold
6M Daru

It must be half of your score and not the total.
5 to 10.000 mp just for being in the faction that has the most players seams a little much :)
And this is on an small server on an normal that would be much much higher.

300 mp if you win all your fights is still a good reward.

It’s always the high level players that are way to attached to the seizes that complain about seize stealing.

Regarding the losing seizes when using truce cards it needs to be a percentage like 5-10% if implemented. If I take Van as an example since he came up with the idea, he could use truce cards for months 24/7 with the only lose 10 seizes per card. Making this new rule pointless.
It could be 10 seizes minimum, but it must have a percentage too if you want it to make people use less truce cards.

I got a question regarding the Xmax-castle.

In the description it says “As long as you optain 36 Golden Jingle Bell, You can exchange them for a Xmas castle which will last…”. Does this means that I will lose 36 Golden bells if I click that button or will still have them in my inventory.

Seams to be good to know since trading 7 XL Gifts for a themed castle is not really a good trade…

Ok, so basically you are trying to say that.
First creating 50 different kong account with the emails etc that are required for them.
Than creating a Castlot account for each one of them.
And after that spending hours everyday logging in to each account to do the task.
And than timing all ingredients trades from the multi accounts to your main, so that you get them and no one else.

Yes. that sounds easier than doing a task that any mid level player can do in a week.
Even if you average a minute or two per day and account, the mid level player will still do it with less work.

Just small things like getting hold of at least 25 IP addresses and making sure you use the right IP for the right kong account, would be interesting.
Because you can’t think that kong and castlot wouldn’t notice if you login to 50+ accounts from the same computer.

Even if you set up and manage 50 multi accounts and then send all daily ingredients during the entire event to one account. You still wouldn’t be able to get all the ingredients you needed.

So no: multi accounting would not help during this event.

Anyway the ingredients are really easy to get. I finished mine after a couple of days. With just 7-8 hours total active play time.

Seriously Van. I don’t think you are the right person to complain about FvF since you decided to use bots to cheat in it.

Regarding the credits I think it works much better now that you get more credits for killing the stronger units. Also I have no problem that they evened out the score between the big and the small players. Even if I will lose a lot of credits because of it.

Getting Knight badges is much bigger problem than Valor medals. It’s only been 2 days and I already have tons of Valors that I never will be able to use. The only way to badges is the 10 from wildland and some from arena with a low drop rate. Knight badges is also much more valuable than Valors since you need more of them then you exchange.

They really should remove the 10 badges per day limit from wildland or even the Badges / Valor ration in the explore.

Regarding my Valor count:
I haven’t used diamonds to buy Valors and I will not be able to use any of the once I get from levies.
