Not a bug, he’s either using the card “loan” or spending the money before the animations have caught up.

I remember the devs mention weekly (or monthly) challenges that would reward a copy of the latest card, but that was long before daily quests became a thing.

Not sure about Neo and Journey (better ask some new players about those), but I really liked the difficulty on GM. It’s challenging, of course it is, but it can be done without fully upgraded scarce/rare/hero cards and without special coins, which seems only fair.
Can’t wait for more!

The other factions might not have infinite draws but they do have similar win conditions: For red it’s rites and big combos while blue can decide the match by using misinformation on the opponent’s offensive cards.

Topic: Kongregate / kong's best of 2013

The games listed above might have been quite decent on their own (exept #7 imho, yet people seemed to like that one so I won’t complain), but the overall impression felt rather disappointing. It’s basically sequels for Kingdom Rush clones popular games and other casual upgrade / grinding based stuff, there’s hardly any skill or strategy required anywhere. (Let’s just ignore the brilliant platformers that came out this year.)

I’ve been also hoping for at least one art / philosophical game (Socrates Jones, anyone?) and The Last Door is probably close enough to that.

Maybe you’re right but, as for myself, I found it fairly easy to buy every single available skill and mastery for all 3 characters of mine. (And yes, I got the Karma ingame.) Before the big patch, that’s it.

If something is easy to obtain, people will complain that the game has no replay value.
If something is more difficult to obtain, they will complain that the game requires too much grinding/cash.
… A developer will never be able to make everybody happy. :/

Ability levels (and base stats, too) have changed with the latest patch, they’re going up to X now instead of III. Lower levels got nerfed a bit but one more upgrade (or two) and they’ll be the same as before.
And this whole change makes perfect sense to me since getting powerfull abilities used to be WAY too easy back in the day.

Can’t give you any particular tips since I dunno what class/which build you’re using but most likely you’re just underleveled. Don’t expect to finish missions at the recommended levels, that’s only working for the 1st area or so. Usually it should be possible to complete missions on easy long before you have reached the recommended level while hard and overrun will remain impossible until you’re like 5-10 levels above it. As there is absolutely no reward for finishing on hard as early as possible (other than slightly more karma/exp once you finally manage to beat the mission), the best thing you can do is come back when you have leveled up and improved your gear… which should be much easier once they’ve introduced crafting.
And remember: whatever is diffucult for you will be even more so for your allies since they’re just mindlessly heading into a bulk of enemies… You’ll always have to finish the tough missions on your own! :P

I agree here, the Samurai could use a good attack/crit buff (so it can actually keep up with other DPS classes) or better support skills (more chances to inflict status effects, stronger poison attack…), the flying element is kinda useless as well.

Maxing Poison is a must imo (in contrast to the Officer’s Poisoned Bullet skill, which is crap).
Attack buff & critical multiplier are applying to it as well, and having an extra active skill should be more important than some extra health.

…but can’t because you’re not a member of Humanwar? You’re not alone! I’d like to organize shared WF runs for members of other guilds and for those of you who aren’t part of a guild at all.

Requirements: lvl 50 character, any class (although preferably DPS), full lvl 50 gear and at least T1 weapons. Everyone would have to donate Wind Stones (or craft a key every couple runs) since we would use the actual keys instead of duping them – and that’s also why we won’t be able to do 10 WF runs a day… :P

If you’re interested pm me in chat or talk to me in game (ign Vardan, Valeria). As soon as I got 5-6 replies I’ll look for a way to let you know who else is in.
Please note that this is just something to keep us busy while we’re waiting for an update and therefore not supposed to replace any present guilds… and I don’t want to be your leader or anything.
