I’ll have to agree with Realm of the Mad God. After dying countless times, I decided to just take it slow and inch forward little by little. After playing for the majority of the day, I decided to go deeper inland, in hopes to attain the badge faster…of course being greedy ended up with me dead, with no badge and pushed me all the way back to square one.

Topic: Kongregate / [Giveaway] News about SicMirx (never was fine to begin with) [Winners drawn]

Back before 2008 I used to just jump between a variety of gaming websites, that is until one day I decided to make kongregate as my “home”.

Although I can’t say I remember what game was it that persuaded me to sign up…probably somewhere along the lines of Fancy Pants or some mmo game. Just like a few others that have spoken, I too, was drawn in by the points system.

Topic: General Gaming / What are your thoughts on a Pokemon inspired game where every Pokemon has it's own talent tree?

Game just completely broke for me I think. The bottom opponent doesn’t even lose 1 health after a barrage of attacks. Here is a screenshot of the battle, as well as the destabilize bug.

As you can see, I can’t even select my rightmost skill because its off the screen!

After I got the first sage seal, I went back to previous levels to find the hidden treasures…yet I found out there’s no easy way of getting out of the level! You must kill everyone again to get out. Could there possibly be a way to get back to level selection?

Edit: I see you can select another minion upon replay, never mind about above.

Great game so far! I have one minor bug to report at the moment. When you equip a gem on one minion, then go to another minion without any gems. If you mouse over the same exact spot (on the second minion) where you placed the gem on the first minion it will show a description of the gem (from the first minion), despite it not having any gems.

Basically, instead of “Insert Gem” description, it shows the gem description from another minion.

Also using the skill destabilize moves the minion forward and it does not return to it’s original position…so every time I use it, the minion crosses the enemies field more and more.

Topic: Technical Support / Updating Rating

Sorry if this has been posted by someone already. When you reach the max amount of ratings for a day (50 ratings) and then if you try to update your rating from another game, the rating will not be updated.

For example, lets say I have rated 50 games today already. If I try to go back and update a game rating, from say… 4 stars to 3 stars, the rating from me will still say 4 stars (even though it says I have updated my rating).

Edit: If you use the mouse-over popup to update your rating, it works that way. The bug only occurs if you try to update your rating from the game page.

Will this be single player or multiplayer?

If multiplayer, please don’t add an energy system or any waiting system! All it does is gradually lower the player base/community. So many pokemon-like games went downhill because of this.

Just like Moonfrost stated, I too, share the opinion zombie games arn’t that great; however, when paired with a unique twist (such as turn based) I don’t mind them.

That’s what I figured since I experimented by putting a cout<< number; in the BaseClass part (and it gave me 123). However, the end result still gave me the huge negative number. Glad to know how to get it working as intended.

I’m having trouble figuring why the output is different from what I had imagined.
I have two classes, one is the base class, and one is inherited from the base class. They both have different headers and cpp files. Sorry if this looks really messy, this would be my first time posting code here in the forums.

     BaseClass(a);

SubClass::getNumber()
{
    return BaseClass::getNumber();    //where the base class getNumber() returns the integer variable number.
}

//in a different cpp file
BaseClass::BaseClass(int a)

}

Assuming I included the correct header files and such, why would this not give me 123? Thank you in advance.

I was able to get kreds with a Visa gift card from the credit card tab, I forgot which admin I asked that said this was okay though. I’m not sure on other gift cards, but perhaps it’s the same way?

I agree on playing a few practice matches first if you are just starting. Feeders are generally the new players that are too stubborn to realize every death also affects your team significantly (negatively).
