Absolute worst (and I guess best) Kongregate badges
Anything repetitive to no end, gets my vote for absolute worst. Papa’s games would be the first to come in mind.

Newbie problem in C++[Solved]
That’s what I figured since I experimented by putting a cout<< number; in the BaseClass part (and it gave me 123). However, the end result still gave me the huge negative number. Glad to know how to get it working as intended.
Thanks again!

Newbie problem in C++[Solved]
I’m having trouble figuring why the output is different from what I had imagined.
I have two classes, one is the base class, and one is inherited from the base class. They both have different headers and cpp files. Sorry if this looks really messy, this would be my first time posting code here in the forums.
SubClass::SubClass(int a)
{
BaseClass(a);
}
SubClass::getNumber()
{
return BaseClass::getNumber(); //where the base class getNumber() returns the integer variable number.
}
//in a different cpp file
BaseClass::BaseClass(int a)
{
number=a; //number is a private member of the base class.
}
//in main.cpp
void main
{
SubClass Sub1(123);
cout<< Sub1.getNumber(); //this gives me -858993460 instead of 123.
}
Assuming I included the correct header files and such, why would this not give me 123? Thank you in advance.

Guess I’ll join the list of people celebrating their 5th Kongregate anniversary, although it seems Thok has us beaten.
On a sidenote, thank you for having this giveaway.

Chronicles of Blood loot challenge
I guess if we think positive, a contest with a horrible game means less people getting the ticket. Likewise, that means a higher chance for us to win.

i think you should change rule
The “I’m young” part was an edit from OP, he actually stated his age before that. The posts that were removed quoted his age, as it was under 13.

Is there any way to get kreds with amazon gift cards?
I was able to get kreds with a Visa gift card from the credit card tab, I forgot which admin I asked that said this was okay though. I’m not sure on other gift cards, but perhaps it’s the same way?

[New] Split test on the game page
I would also prefer the comments on the left side, it feels weird having the left side be the shorter side(unless there is some freakishly long advertisement that I haven’t encountered yet).

I agree on playing a few practice matches first if you are just starting. Feeders are generally the new players that are too stubborn to realize every death also affects your team significantly (negatively).

Feeders ruin individual games. This has to stop.
I suggest in the lobby, it shows everyone’s k/d ratio for their own team. That way, it’s a matter of choice to play with the feeder or not.

Reminiscence Contest (Winner Announced)
I remember the beta tag that had been next to the Kongregate logo. It was there for a few years and then said farewell. All the people complaining and taking screenshots…funny thing is, you don’t hear about it in the forums anymore.
Sadly, I tried to remember how I found Kongregate in the first place, but I failed to do so.

You get the blue version when you upgrade it for 500k gold at VII.
As for your base you will want most of your firepower at the top, rather than all spread out, especially when you get near the end.
Also in my opinion, its either you use 5 neg voiders, or none at all, for anything less than that is quite useless when you get spammed with negative effects.
Last, I suggest you put your weapon towers closer to the edge of the shields, to maximize their range.

Then maybe they do not stack? I only use one +5% drop rate.
As for the “x rank”, what do you mean?

I get about 4-5 rares each run in Zone One, try farming there…if it does take you hours, perhaps the bonus drop rate is reversed.

Vira Ultima:
10.5 Delay
Heals 20 at level 1, and 120 at max.
Base Range:23 (should cover your whole base, basically)
Base skills:
Darkness Alloy: Increase hp by 20, cost 200k gold
Team Vehemence: All units in range gain 8 max hp, cost 700k gold
Ultima Heal: Completely heals targets and cures any negative effects, costs 4.5mil gold
I dont plan on maxing the skills for this unit as they are too expensive, so I can only list the base stats. Also it is a free unit…just really really hard to get.

It’s really nice…but could the list be sorted by levels instead? It would really help.
