Can we get the sound/art ratings of our uploads to the kollabs, displayed on our profile pages? Right now the only way to see our rating is to go through a pretty long list of new and old releases, lol.

Hey :) I am a pianist, and have got a large (and growing) repertoire of songs, which I’d be more than happy to have feature in your game. :) You can listen to what I have over here I have 5 albums up there, which can be downloaded for free.. and I’m working on another one as we speak. PM me if you’re interested!

I may be able to help with music. I can do a full piano score for your game, but can’t do much in terms of other instruments! I’ve got some examples of my music over here or just look at my profile page on Kong. PM me if you’re interested :)

On second thoughts, you might find it easier to stream my music from here: http://davegreening.bandcamp.com/ which is where I host the digitial copies of my piano albums. You can stream the music on there for free. Hope it’s something like what you’re looking for.

I have got a large selection of piano samples and original solo improvised piano pieces up on my kollab account if you’re interested. I’m not so sure if it’s the style you are after, but maybe I can help you with a track for a menu screen, or something like that. :)

Explain to me then, why a track which I uploaded around this time last year, which won one week of the Kongregate Scion competition with a rating of about 4.5 is now a 1 star now that I’ve resubmitted it? The kollabs has become troll hell.

Try listening to my music, Carados. I’m not saying it’s amazing, but it’s certainly not a 1/5.

My suggestion … I am absolutely sick and tired of seeing good music in the Kollabs getting rated a 1 star by either a) anonymous music haters, b) jealous musicians, c) … I won’t swear. I would love for you to fix the Kollabs rating system, making it so that someone has to either comment before they rate, or make it so that ratings are looked at by the moderators. It’s really annoying, when you can see that someone has put a lot of hardwork into a piece of music, and someone comes along and makes it look awful by giving it a low rating. It’s happened to a few of my own tracks, and I’m sure others will agree. Let’s face it, the Kollabs are a state. There is clearly no management of it, and people are leaving ridiculous messages all over the place. It’s supposed to be a place to share music, not a place to gun down other people’s music, in the hopes that your own track ends up higher in the ratings. Fix this, Kong. It’s a joke.

If you are looking for some laid back and/or aggressive piano sounds, then I can certainly provide those. I was one of the finalists last year in Kongregate’s Scion contest with my entry “Not Yet.” There’s a couple of songs on my profile you can listen to. :)

Having re-read your title, I see you’re looking for a sound designer, not musician. Sorry for the confusion.

Dave.

Hi, MoonlaughMaster,

I would like to write some music for your game projects, and have a few tracks to show you on my Kongregate profile page. My track “Not Yet” is currently winning this week’s Scion contest. I have been playing the piano since I was 6, and can also play the violin.

As regards a musical education, I have completed an A Level course in Music, as well as GCSEs, both of which I excelled in. These involved music theory, performances, and compositions. Please leave me a shout, or send an email to d_two@hotmail.co.uk if you would like to find out more information, or hear more of what I have to offer.

Take care,
Dave.
