So, bad news guys. Yesterday my entire dropbox folder (where I keep all my project files) was backed automatically by dropbox. Something must have went wrong in the backup, because all three of my MFSI files and their backups have been corrupted, along with many other badge quality, near completed projects. The SWFs, which are the viewing files, were not corrupted.

Luckily about a month ago, I was looking to have a screensaver on my PC, but I didn’t want to use 1.2, so I went on another development spree on 1.3. I basically finished 1.3 fully automated edition, which has most of the content from 1.3, without the shop or any of the other menus. I also made a version for wide screen computers.

I will be posting the screensavers for 1.3 fully automated later today, and I will also put what I had of regular 1.3 on FastSWF, so you can see what I had planned for when I eventually finished.

EDIT: Ope, never mind about the full version, apparently the SWFs from all the version of the game recognized that they were the same game and were deleting the last, so I only have the fully automated version.

OT certainly isn’t as active as it once was. Most of the regulars have been replaced with trolls and noobs. We’ll have more smart people come summer. And give it a couple months for the newbs to mature and we should have good old OT back.

None of the default Windows 7 games (Yes, like Solitaire, Chess, Mahjong, etc.) are installed, and I can’t find any good replacements for them.

Microsoft has all of these for free on the Windows appstore.

Even though it’s been out for months, lots of games just fail to work on it.

What games? I have never played or heard of a game, or any program for that matter, that isn’t compatible with Windows 8. Are you sure it isn’t a problem specific to your PC?

Actually, the metro screen replaces modules in Windows 7, which were basically little modules you could put on your desktop.

So, I hear a lot of criticisms about windows 8. Often, I will be using my laptop, and as soon as I hit the start button, somebody will comment, “EW, Is that windows 8?”

Personally, I have been using it for a while now, and I think it’s fine. It’s pretty much the same as Win 7, except you have a little media center you can escape to instead of the start button.

What are your opinions? Have you tried Windows 8? If so, do you like it?

Seriously, have you watched any of the new episodes of Family Guy? It sucks so bad, I just don’t even understand how people can watch that crap. I used to follow the show, but about 3 seasons back, I found myself not laughing at all, and even getting bored 1/3 of the way through the episode.
