I can attest to what TheGil is saying here. I (along with many others), quit because of crafting. There were many who had finished the grind of ever having to do raids, when they introduced crafting and forced people back into raids. I came back after a year when you could get *raid crafting material from daily chance.

Buy to keep option after entering a tournament at the non keep price

Obviously with exception. Tournament participation would increase as those who join tournaments to collect sets would be able to join at the lower cost. How you off-set the inherent risk involved as a player of losing their gold, is you make the buy to keep option twice as much after entering at the lower cost.

Example:
Entering a Homeworld tournament costs 10k or 240k. I enter at 10k. I recieve the last legendary i need to complete my set. I have the option to buy to keep those 4 packs at the cost of an additional 470k.

What this esentially does is increase tournament participation among all users, and helps reduce the overall amount of gold within the game itself.

mfronek – One of the more respected players among the top factions. Objective thinking.
?? – Another respected player among top factions (from an opposing top tier faction)
Baulde – on Fansite the #1 ranked tournament player. Having someone who understands and utilizes tyrants cardbase would be ideal for a consortium
hunterhogan – Good deck builder, awesome text walls. Not afraid to have conflicting opinions
pip – No explanation needed
Moraku – simulator, deck building, objective thinking
??
– A heavy FB tyrant player

Last but not least, and I’m not trolling:

0hio – I say his name because having a player who has a knack for finding exploits would be good for all of tyrant IF and its a big IF, he joined the consortium for quality assurance purposes. I know, it’s like making a deal with the devil., and the cons may outweigh the pros.

Love the universal shard. I understand your point on making a cap, but 20 is too low. I suggest making it 25 or 35. Sometimes i prefer buying 2 or more packs at a time instead of crafting a pack as soon as it becomes available. Having the last digit in the cap be a 5 allows the players to obtain the amount needed for multiple packs without losing any shards for hitting the cap.

i.e. I have 19 shards and do the daily quest and obtain 1 shard because the cap was 20, when i should have recieved 3 shards, etc..

You have a chance to fight back, and you are fighting back. The reason you are in danger is because you were aggressive and got yourself in a poor strategic situation.

Perfectly stated. Before the war broke, between Evo and Mongers, they had combined 63 tiles. Enough for both factions to claim max tokens. Instead of balancing tiles among themselves, they attacked an alliance, and from my understanding was warned not to create an unbalance. Instead of doing that, Evo became aggressive and continued attacking, seemingly to poke the bear afterwards getting mauled.

Now i read the Original Post as a big thread about whining, when THEY (Evocati/Warmongers) WERE THE ONES THAT STARTED THIS. They got aggressive and kept collecting more tiles than was needed.
Disclaimer, if this isn’t 100% accurate in the intentions, well that’s war propaganda for you

Seriously? This was one of two of the changes you listed in the other thread that, if not implemented horribly, would have been a significant improvement. Without it, you haven’t fixed the main issue many long-time players voiced: that you are forcing players to redo parts of the game that they do not enjoy after having already completed them.

That is meant for a future update after players have had a chance to play the current system. It is something we are considering but not yet a guarantee.

Well thanks for the game while it lasted. After finishing all 16 raids at max honor, I refuse to go back to doing the raids. I’ve already left my top 10 faction and wont be coming back. At least you enjoyed my warbonding while it lasted.
