You don’t want people raging at your game. That’s not good for them or you.

This is because people are force starting the battle without fully letting people connect to the rest of the team. If you see your entire team in the battle and the join timer is still going, dont click start, let the timer continue to run and let it connect all of you together naturally.

That’s fine and dandy, but that is one of many examples of bugs that make the game frustrating. I won’t list them here and I’m sure they’ve been reported.

I agree with original poster. Please fix the bugs as fast as possible. The game is fun and there’s lots of potential, but I can’t rate above 2/5 (3/5 max) with all these bugs. I nearly rage quit just last night because every time I was in a fight with my teammate enemies became unclickable and then I couldn’t leave fight once it was over. I refreshed so many times I just said forget this and went to sleep.

You don’t want people raging at your game. That’s not good for them or you.

Yep, I can also testify to this. Happened to me a few minutes ago. I thought that I accidentally sold the items, but I couldn’t possibly have since I triple checked what I wanted to keep and what I wanted to sell.

Topic: Card Hunter / Heal the Weak bugged

Hey devs,

I recently noticed that heal the weak is bugged. I use an elf as my healer so her health is lower than my human warrior and dwarf mage. I’ve noticed that even when her life is maxed out, while someone else may need healing, if she has a lower value than they do she gets healed. This needs fixing. I understand if it choses her when both life values are equal, but when her life value is 17/17 and my warrior is 18/23 it should heal him since her life is maxed out.

There are three classes in this game: Fighter, Mage and Rogue. Below I will compare what I consider the two strongest Fighter and Mage. I will do my best to explain why Mage is OP by comparing stat distribution.

On a fighter, here are how stats lvl per point:

Magical Defense +3.

Now Mage:

STR
Physical Defense +2
Magical Defense +1

Physical Defense +1
Magical Attack Min +2
Magical Defense +1
Hit Rate +0.1
INT
Magical Attack Max +4
Magical Attack Min +2
LUK
Magical Attack Max +2
Magical Defense +1
Critical Hit +0.1

Comparing each stat you can see that on a per point basis Mage has no waste at all. You can put an AP point into anything and it will be useful for more than one attribute. On the other hand, if you place points into INT for Fighter, you are only using that AP point for one attribute.

To be thorough, let’s compare more closely. First off, let’s compare a Figther’s STR stat to a Mage’s INT stat. Immediately we see a vast difference Min/Max Attack on Fighter is 1/3 on Mage it’s 2/4. You may say, “Well, Fighter gets Phys. Def.” I’ll counter with my next comparison.

Let’s look at all the stats that grant class specific defense; in other words Phys Def for fighters and Mag Def for Mage. On Fighter STR and DEX grants +1 Phys def. On mage STR, DEX, and LUK grant +1 Mag def. Another piece of evidence to support the no waste opinion I have.

Next let’s compare the opposite; in other words Mag Def for Fighters and Phys Def for Mage. On Fighter only 1 stat raises Mag Def and that’s INT. On Mage 2 stats do and they are STR and DEX. You may say, “Well, on Fighter INT raises Mag Def +3” but you are forgetting something. It doesn’t raise anything besides Mag Def. Which means it’s not as usefull as a Mage’s STR or DEX which not only raise Phys Def, but also something else that a Mage will need.

I truly think Mages are OP. They have no waste and since not many people play them, people don’t spec with them that heavily in mind. Honestly, if I could I would delete my character save and make a Mage.

Topic: Kongregate Multiplayer Games / [Sword & Magic] [Suggestion] General Idea / Bug Encountered

I just started playing the game today and I am writing to suggest and complain at the same time.

First the complaint: On the character screen where you can spend your AP, there is a stat reset button. Not knowing what the button was and in the spirit of trying to learn the game by clicking at things randomly, I clicked it. So I lost the ability to reset at a later time when it will really matter. If I can have this button back, may I have it please? Eve if you delete all my data, I wouldn’t mind since I just started today anyway. If not, then at least I asked.

Suggestion: When someone clicks the stat reset button, it would be nice if it tells you what you are about to do and asks you if you are sure. A lot of the buttons in the game don’t tell you what the heck they do. If the camping button, which appears during quests, didn’t take me to a screen to buy crystals, I would have never known that’s what that button was for.

Topic: Kongregate Multiplayer Games / [Akaneiro] List of Useful Skills

I’ve only recently begun playing and I always play a tank or bruiser (tanky-dps) in whatever game I play so it was a no brainer to choose a Fortitude Character. The following is my build.

I AM ONLY LVL 7 AT THIS TIME.

FORTITUDE

1. Chi Prayer (MUST HAVE)
My primary heal. It is the third thing I cast in every fight. I refresh it when it fades.

2. Chi Mend (MUST HAVE)
My secondary heal. I use this situationally. If Chi Prayer isn’t holding up I cast this ASAP.

3. Stone Skin (MUST HAVE)
First thing I cast in every fight. I refresh it when it fades.

4. Iron Thorns (MUST HAVE)
Second thing I cast in every fight. I refresh it when it fades.

5. Ring of Frost (Situational)
Only good for killing mobs. I prefer Iron Thorns for bosses.

6. Haunting scream (Useless)
With my first two heals I can stay alive long enough to win. Unless this works on bosses, I don’t see the point for it.

7. Overall rating 9/10
Point lost for the armor you start your mastery with . I changed over to medium armor and I never die.

Topic: Kongregate Multiplayer Games / [Dueling Blades] New Version of Dueling Blades

Cool.

I have a couple suggestions for the game and I didn’t see a “suggestions” thread so I decided to post them here.

At the moment there is no real way to fine tune your character to your liking besides chosing different armor (eg. one rogue armor might boost str and agil while another might boost def and agil) and it would be cool to have more options. Like maybe in the class tree there are different branches you could take to end at the same class; or maybe have gems/orbs/pieces of candy/whatever that boost different stats and that you can socket into your equips.

I don’t have very much ideas to suggest for being able to fine tune a character, but I hope – if my idea seems reasonable – that other members in the community will comment or the staf at HourBlastGames will think of things. Cheers.

I play on the home site, server 13 and 30, and I can confirm what R2Gaberiall said.

Archers are normally the best early game and balance out with the other classes late game.

Mages can be good both late and early game.

Knights are normally okay early game, but around mid game (lvl 35) catches up with the other two.

It all depends on how you build your character. On server 13 the top player use to be an archer until he transferred to a new server and then he was replaced by a mage.

On server 30 the strongest player is a knight. So you see, there is no unbalanced game dynamics here. None that I’ve seen thus far at least.

I would also like to read more opinions on the classes. I’ve started playing today, but I can’t find any material outside the wiki on the classes. I don’t want to start on a class and then later realize I would do better as another.

As of right now, I’m not interested in mage because I want to play casually and don’t feel like kiting. I was thinking to pick monk if it is survivable, but I like doing mass damage also and thus was interested in warrior.

As of right now I’m stuck between those two choices. If either had a ranged attack I’d go with that one.
