Topic: Dawn of the Dragons / Game hangs upon load

Windows 7 64 bit, Chrome.

Whenever I come to the DoTD page here on Kong, the game loves to make my browser freeze for 5-15 seconds before I even see the loading text or symbol.
This is GUARANTEED to happen with Jhunz’ script . So I removed it. But it happens now and then without a script too.

Anyone else getting these annoying freezes\stops? It’s pretty ridicilous…

You cannot park your mouse no potions and keep double clicking to consume them. You must move your mouse – even if only a SINGLE PIXEL for the double click to register again.

Edit : You can consume 1, but then double clicking won’t do a thing until you move your mouse.

This should not be allowed. I’ve had a rival guild target me and 3 others exclusively, for days, with HUNDREDS of attacks. Daily. They would refresh ad infinitum to get my name and with their wallet warrior stupidity, beat us 4 down again and again. It was petty, it was childish, they got banned, but the idea is the same.
There should be no reason why people should be greenlit to be dicks. I might spend 110 tickets on one guy, but not every day. I’ll fish out someone at my rank or 1 lower and beat him until he dies or my tickets run out, then move on.
That feels fair, as I haven’t camped the poor guy and prevented HIS advancement, you know?

Of course it’s possible, this is something that even worthless Internet Explorer has allowed people to do TEN YEARS AND THEN SOME AGO.
Why the Devs refuse to do this is beyond me though. It would speed up the game a bit.
Then again, opening the Crafting-General tab makes the game hang for 1-3 seconds. That one is getting bloated.

Absolutely untrue. The ART STYLE – which is what it is – in LoTS is awful. It has odd colors and shapes and in general made that game feel incredibly sterile and sort of annoying.

1)Fix Arena lag. Seriously.
2)Make Maraak’s shards not only drop once a lifetime or so >.>
3)Incorporate a way so we don’T have to keep clicking loot after raids are done and clicking to put several HUNDRED stat points please D=

Ditto! Found it at 14 hours left, now at 1.064 B. Trying to sneak on just before it ends (half an hour from now) see if I can push a level through and get 1,5 B.

I got to 2B at 22 hours left. couldn’t do 3B so I stopped.
If I had WS 2 though, holy shit I would have EASILY done 15…
Problem is due to the unnecessary-exvessive bullshit attack buff bosses got, my meagre 5.5K def isn’t enough to go through NIGHTMARE Val to get it :-\

Reloading. Bad. Even if you use the /reload command from the script , there is a problem.
When the game lags hard, it may falsely say Maintenance is going on, wasting you time. It can be important if you are just about to level, htiting a WR or DL or something…

@Harry : agreed.
What happens is, the picture gets loaded into memory (Being displayed).
But as the thing slides out, it never gets UNLOADED from memory. So when it comes back…it gets reloaded. The small particle effect keeps getting compounded and compounded and compounded , slowing things down drastically.

Which it doesn’t.
I followed instructions to block certain WR animations. Guess what. All that did was continue the animation AND add graphical glitches to 172 frames near the end (Corrupted erebus roaring).
Yes, I did everything correctly.
More than anything, the dev needs to do this so the users don’t. I’m sure they will, the devs are awesome here.

I’m not a developer – before anyone thinks so.
BUT I HAVE FOUND A WAY to “reset” the Arena lag you get from repeatedly dueling people with SOCK 2 and SOCK 3 !

Around 20-40 tickets, you will start to lag. Annoyingly so. Between your ticket count in the middle and the Duel button, right click, zoom in. Attack once. Then right click the same spot above the Duel button and zoom in again.
AT this point it will \ might appear that your flash crashed or froze. It didn’t. Give it a few seconds and it will zoom in again. Press attack once more – this will be VERY slow\choppy.
Once the attack begins, right click and SHOW ALL. This will let you see all of the flash game once again but also mysteriously erase all that built-up lag ! VERY handy.

Reply with your results ! (Tested and working on Windows 7 Ultimate \ Chrome)

Yes. Yes you can.
You see, most of you whiners are complete idiots.
Yes, pity and hate Wallet Warriors – as you should, and they deserve. HOWEVER.

What do WRs do? Boost stats. That is useful. Useful is not awesome.
You know what is awesome?
THE INSANE AMOUNT OF STAM AND ENERGY POTS THEY DROP.
Be smart. hoard them. Sit on them and when a WR with good loot comes out (Check the loot table, guesstimate damage, etc), THEN use them to boost up your damage.

Yes, this sucks. Yes, this takes months if you are unlucky. But the option is there, free, and all good.
Me, I do 650-850K \ 20 stam with Breaking Dawn, just under 20K power. I wish I hit harder as LV 605 but I don’t. Yet…so I’m sitting on the potions, waiting for a new WR to show up to dump my pots into. If it’s a bad one (or one which has loot I’ve already got) I’ll hit it for MORE potions.

So please quit the incessant stupid whining about this topic, would you?
Where else are the developers so awesome and committed? WHere can you do hundreds of thousands of damage? Nowhere? Then shut up and enjoy it you thankless tw*ts.
