Proof of God
My evidence for the existence of God: Where did everything come from? It is a scientific fact that matter cannot be created or destroyed, so how did it come to be in the first place? The only way that could happen would be to have something supernatural create it; something that is not governed by the laws of physics (God).
P.S. If somebody already posted an idea like this, sorry, I didn’t have time to read the entire thread.

Supreme Court Decision on Obama's Health Care Law

Interesting how the DNC celebrated this victory on the so-called war on women
Interesting how even this could mean nothing in a few months
Not interesting how it’s practically impossible to read a 200-page court decision or a 2000 page law. At least they have large margins.
jhco,,,the “rabid right”,,,the stingy, mean, selfish, wealthy 1%er’s—-they all loose, Losse, LOOSE, L O O S E. KKK does “happy-dance”, does toast w/ the wife, gets lump in throat.
???
Interesting how Obama can lie like this and so many people won’t even care

On the Origin of Life

As for zman’s posts, he doesn’t have to demand that his view is the only acceptable one or that it should be the only one taught in schools. Religion has obviously prevented him from having any sort of intellectual rigor or curiosity in looking into the science behind the origin of life. He’s content with the non-explanation. That is a problem.
I have looked into it and I think it’s crazy how some people can believe it.

It may not be proof for anyone else, but it’s enough for me to believe.

Well, the big thing is that he actually has spoken to me, that’s how I personally know he is real. You can choose to believe me or not.

Hmmm. Perfect/Flawless God, or Imperfect/Flawed Human, which one should I believe? I wonder.

Do we owe soldiers gratitude?
Originally posted by Camoraz:
I don’t see how we’re being defended by soldiers invading another country. And before somebody says that “good defense is good offensive” bulls**t, think about it: that’s saying “theyre guilty for maybe commiting a crime later, and execution is in order”. With that logic, I can shoot every single person in my neighbourhood, and say “They might have threatened me in the future”, and everything would be completely legal. Also, when was the last time an enemy set foot on US soil? [Pearl Harbour doesnt count btw, it was in the middle of the ocean, and they were helping the Axis enemy, the Allies. They sorta had it coming.] Uhhhmmm….Oh right, the War of 1812, which was initiated by the Thirteen Colonies against modern-day Canada. And before that, the War of Independence, also initiated by the Thirteen Colonies, against modern-day Canada. All in all, no power (the group of terrorists don’t count) has touched mainland US soil for nearly 200 years, yet the government still has the balls to say that theyre defending themselves.
Why don’t they count?

The Better Story: Possible Solution to Religious Conflict.
“and another portrayal of Jesus as a very nasty little boy who killed a child who punched him, and then blinded his parents for complaining about it.”
Where is this from?
