I just got Mercs 2 and it is fun, repetative but fun. Nothing beats bombing a whole building when there is only one sniper in a window. Overkill for the win.

I found the game to be very playable in campaign. Some of the challenges however were very annoying. I would simply restart them until I got the perfect set of starter cards then just wailed on the comp. The game is very luck based but I think the second one will take care of alot of the problems.

Topic: General Gaming / what should pandemic 3 be like?

How about this, don’t make a pandemic three until you can figure out how a real world pandemic would work. I mean how can you stop an airborne, waterborne and insect carreid disease. Make it harder to stop the vaccine because really that is the only thing that should stop the virus. Closing borders won’t stop air from comming in. Oh and also make it not the most boring game in the world.

I will be attending the next Comic Con in New York this comming Feb and wanted to start up a thread to see who else might be there and what you are looking forward to at the con. Sega Dreamcast should have been such a huge system but Nooooo, Sega had to mess it up. I mean for Christ sakes it had the original Soul Caliber, 2k Series and Shenmu. It should have been a huge seller but marketing and the damn PS killed it dead.

I’m not sure if it makes finacial sense to release them in theaters anymore. With D2D downloads, On Demand and the new DVD formats I think they might avoid theaters and save some of the money it can cost to distribute.

I wish I could pay Bugie to stop making Halo games and dedicate their time to making another original title. I loved the first Halo but the remakes are crap, they need to get a fresh start and try somthing new. I also can’t wait to see how much better StarCraft 2 is that Halo Wars.

I own almost 7k comics and the entire run (so far) of the Marvel Mighty Muggs. I also own 2 combat grade steel Dark Knight Batarangs.

DOTA was really fun when the map first came out. Now the only people who play it are a rather small group who only play with each other and boot anyone else. All I know is that I have heard alot of Buzz about a DOTA type map for SC2 so maybe that is the next step for a map type like this.

Anyone who can’t play a game to any real degree but still talks a big game. I don’t feel that beginners are newbs but when I get some 10 year old on COD4, R6V2 or TF2 who has a 1-5000 kill/death ration but they still shout commands and insults at everyone else I want to make them explode with Mind Bullets that hunt down newbs.

All I know is I hate getting a really good score and only being in like 500th place because the ones above me are hacked into the millions and billions. I know that people are always going to hack and there is really nothing you can do to stop it, all you can do is delete score that are obvious hacks and also attempt to prevent hacking as best you can.

The list of Villians who are allowed within Nolan’s Batman is much smaller than the comic book series. What needs to happen is that Dent is not dead and returns to get revenge for his losses from the Dark Knight. In the process Batman is absolved and the Riddler could be a secondary villian. The Riddler and Dent would not work together and would have seperate agendas because we all know what happens when Villians work together on screen (spider-man 3 Yikes). In the end of the film Gotham is left with Batman and only Batman and a city that has slipped from grace is allowed the hero they deserve and Batman will realize his role may never end which bears heavily on his soul.
