OK.

So, I’ve made this post before.
Now it seems as if a lot of the community is working against me.
I don’t like the way Kongregate is going.
And not to mention I have too many things in real life to deal with not only a flash gaming website, but the immature antics of its users.

I usually do not play the Flash games on this website, and certain users have made using the forums a time-wasting chore.

Kongregate is no longer fun. It is a like a bad drug that simply causes irritation and constant headaches.

It’s been a fine four and a half years. Yet, that is quite a bit of time, and I no longer have a reason at all to be here.

Goodbye.

Zamininc, don’t message me. I hope you find some balance.

No, repetitive piece of shiny crap that has a bunch of features you would never use in a practical manner.

Plus, it looks much more shinier on the PC.

Can I get to the basics and ask why it is, in your opinion (as morality is simply a collection of opinions and subjectivity), immoral to kill a fetus?

So you refuse to answer the question?

In that case, we’ll deny that children who would have been aborted would have ever been born into an unfortunate scenario, because you say it is impossible.

“If” is the operative word. I have never even heard of anything remotely close to a scenario like that. If put in that situation, I would not make either choice. I would break the rules. Not aborting the baby was answered above when I told you I was against abortion, period. the other option is not a choice as I would not allow such a thing to happen. Hence, I refused to answer the scenario you presented, and still do. Neither choice was acceptable. And really, it has nothing to do with real life or the discussion perseh.

It does. As I said, you had no chance of rescuing your baby.

If it makes it easier to say “no,” I could say that it happens to another family instead whose father is not the Hulk, apparently, nor who owns ten firearms, thus guaranteeing he has no physical way of getting the baby back.

And Infamous. Forgot about that, also a must-play. Both were great, though I thought the first was better.

Perhaps a bit of Assassin’s Creed as well?

I was thinking about this for a long time. I don’t know, I just feel like I’d get overwhelmed if I started this series as there are like 5 games to play with each of them taking a very very long time to complete.

I hear the first one is very repetitve and boring. Is this true?

The first one IS repetitive and boring. However, the 2nd game picks the franchise right up and many claim it to be the best in the series. There are four games, not five, though. They don’t take as long as other games, either. Also, the first game is the shortest.

I would recommend it.

I paid $49.99 for all four games, although, since I’m on a PC. Have fun spending $199.96.

But the thing is that if you were put in said situation, you would have to make a choice.

Not making a choice is simply the same as refusing the abortion, since you let the pregnancy happen.

I’m assuming your choice is “no, I would not abort the baby,” then?

I was really hoping Sucker Punch would not go and release their fourth Sly game on a six-year-old piece of hardware to be covered up by blur and bloom to hide a horrible draw distance.

Oh well; Sly Cooper.

If it’s cel-shaded, it’ll most likely look fine though.

But instead, what was posted was a disrespectful mockery. Shame.

So, poster, you’re saying that if a crazy, angry man wants to kill people, he wouldn’t be able to get his hands on a legal gun because a lot of places, such as auctions and online sales, do not require background checks?

You’re stupid.

I agree. But like magical orange unicorns appearing after you die to guide you through your past life, you can’t definitely say it is not true but you can say that it is more than likely not true.

Azolf, as you’ve said, there is no proof in God. I could go on and say how your belief is simply as logical as believing in orange unicorns after death. However as Pleasedonot said, if you find happiness and morality in your religion and do not use it to impair the rights of others, all the power to you.

Let’s just say my perception of a god is different than your perception of God.

Flabby, where are you getting your information about God? I’m part of a non-denominational, multi-cultural church that clothes the poor, visits the sick and widows, and helps people who are brokenhearted, down on their luck, and at the end of their rope. No politics, no strings attached. Most of the people we help don’t even attend our church.

OK, I wanted to address this whole post (although I snipped the rest out). You DO NOT need religion to have any sort of moral compass and help others. You don’t need to be religious to seek the “good” in others, or to even be happy (one could argue that this sort of happiness is worse because of the possibility that you are deluding yourself to be happy). For the longest time, I worked at a soup kitchen at my local Presbyterian church (even though I’m atheist), simply because it was an easy way to feed the poor.

The problem becomes when people abuse religion to harm others. Religion is not immune to corruption. In fact, it has become incredibly corrupt before. People use religion to abuse others for their own personal gain. It has caused murders of those that do not believe in the same religion as someone else, along with simple solicitation in the name of “God.” Don’t try and tell me that nothing bad has come of religion (of which your God seems not to be able to stop).

And then you have people today who are trying to push their beliefs on people. We can’t have homosexual marriage because of one passage in the Christian bible. Women can’t have abortions, even though their lives might be threatened or they simply would not be able to provide for a child (it’s kind of funny that these pro-lifers don’t support life past birth and are the same people who want to own tons of guns, but that’s a different story).

Oh, and global warming and evolution don’t exist.

The truth of the matter is that you are being asked to put faith in something which has never been proven and has evidence against whatever evidence it once had. Faith is a blind belief in something without proof, and it makes as much sense to believe that orange unicorns will guide you through your life after you die.

Or, you know, to have faith in any other religion.

The main argument from that post is that you seem to do good things, helping people who might not believe as you do. Why do you have to believe in a non-existent god to do that?

Buy your own desktop parts and make a computer that is both powerful and cheap, then buy a horrible laptop and use remote desktop with Windows 7.

This is exactly “looking at the current FACTS”, not “explaining how evolution got them there”.
To make it clear – don’t you know how dodos went extinct?
By humans introducing foreign animals like rats and pigs – so they simply ATE the whole dodo population, with NOTHING remaining.
This is a perfect proof that ecosystems SHOULDN’T (evolutionarily) work the way they DO.
The whole theory falls apart, if we stop using CURRENT FACTS as “proofs” of how it CAME to be.
If my chair is painted, it is equally proof that I painted it myself OR someone spilled a huge bucket of paint over it.

I don’t get how that’s “perfect proof.”

The dodos’ environment changed, and they couldn’t adapt.
