We’ve had trouble being online at the same time this week. This is probably our final score.

Epic Battle Fantasy 4 Premium Pack
EBF4 definitely saves your premium content status somewhere other than your computer. I purchased the premium content, then accidentally set my local storage to 0 MB for the game. This erased my save files and medals, but I still had the premium items when I restarted.

Absolute worst (and I guess best) Kongregate badges
Originally posted by stairwalker:
PvP badges, especially those involving winning x times, are the worst ones because:
1. The community will be dead eventually, no matter how popular it is at first.
2. It says nothing about your playing skills, you can run into noobs and win easily, or get beaten by high-levels despite being quite good.
3. It encourages rigged matches, which annoys those who genuinely like to play the game.
This is almost my answer, with the exception of this part

The worst badges are those like the Kongai hard badge, where not only do you have to win a lot, but losing actually decreases your points and takes you farther away from getting the badge. I haven’t been in Kongai for a long time, but if it’s as dead as the other PvP games that came out around that time (hi, Dinowaurz!), the badge is not even possible anymore without mass collusion or alt abuse. That should not have happened.
I understand why multiplayer games get badges. They have high ratings, they earn revenue for the site, and some of them are actually pretty great games. However, I think there needs to be a hard rule for badges on these games.
Any badge that absolutely cannot be earned without involvement from other players is a bad idea.
Starfighter: Disputed Galaxy (when it was still functional) was a multiplayer game, but you could get all the badges without involving yourself in multiplayer at all. The Remnants of Skystone badges can be obtained by yourself, although it is slow and painful. That 100,000,000 raid damage badge on Dawn of the Dragons can be obtained by yourself, although it is even slower and much more painful. But the point is, a few years from now, when the player base is all but gone except for a few hardcore devotees, the badge can still be obtained. This isn’t the case for Kongai, or Dinowaurz, or Swords & Potions, where you’re relying on an active community for the badges to function as designed.

I don’t even remember this game? :S
It was an artillery game (ie Scorched Earth) where, instead of always fighting the other player’s tanks, you could team up to fight monsters. I thought it was a good concept, but I didn’t like the big, bright, cutesy graphics at all. Or the pay to win structure, either, obviously.

Is it POSSIBLE for someone to get 44 Impossible badges in one (ONE!) day?
I almost want to play through and make save files for all the impossibles on my main account, then make an alt and get all of them in one day, just so I can say I did it (sort of) legitimately.

I’m not sure about that. The Kongregate version has had a lot of game-wrecking bugs. Kixeye kept promising a solution was coming soon. It appears that, instead of actually fixing the bugs, his solution is to shut down the game. Unless you think he introduced the bugs on purpose.

That point I completely agree with.

Mechanical Commando Impossible Badge
It’s been a long time since I got this badge, but I did it by mostly circling the outside (and without lagging myself). I recall the levels which filled the perimeter with double strength guns to be a lot more problematic than the 4 tank levels, and I think I frequently had more than 4 tanks on the screen all the time. (That can happen, right? Or do they kinda queue up in memory, and when you destroy one, the next one in line appears? Whichever. I just ignored the tanks, and let them bunch up in the middle.) I think that homing rockets didn’t work for me at all, like, I couldn’t get past about wave 12 with them. The important thing was to not miss shots, so I could destroy at least half the outside guns on each pass.

Could you repeat that in English? I’d like to spend as little time as possible on this badge, and I don’t understand anything you said after “gear”.

Indeed. This seems like another Backyard Monsters “if you log on every day, this badge will still take more than a month” badge, only this one is on a worse game.

Vote for the Best of 2012 Quest!

- Incursion
- SCGMD4
- Decision 2
- Strike Force Heroes
- Several Journeys of Reemus Chapter 4 Beastly Blackhole of Bureaucracy
- Musaic Box
- Fancy Pants Adventure: World 3
- Jacksmith
Replace Reemus with Monsters’ Den: Chronicles and Jasksmith with FPA3 and that would be perfect, in my opinion.
If you replace Jacksmith with FPA3, would you have to earn the FPA3 badge twice?
Anyway, Zeebarf is totally under-represented in the Best Of quests (pretty sure he isn’t represented at all, in fact), and needs to be on this one. Go Reemus!

Vote for the Best of 2012 Quest!

Same here. The second list is much more appealing to me. I hated infectinator 2 (and, really, the entire -inator line of games) and new star soccer, and while I liked the original Burrito Bison quite a bit, neither of these launch games improved anything over it.

i am already thinking about best of 2012 set of badges coming out
Originally posted by Thorock:
those are all great selections imo.
My gripe is that the two best games on that list (Bloons TD and Monster’s Den) are sequels to games that have already been on Best Of quests. Paladog and Decision are pretty good, but go on much too long for how repetitive they get. New Star Soccer is poo.
The four games with the * that haven’t been badged yet, well, I haven’t played any of them, but if past history is a good indicator, I’m going to hate Infectonator 2.
Some other games I really liked this year:
Arzea
Talesworth Adventure: The Lost Artifacts
Fancy Pants Adventure World 3 (another sequel!)
Stealth Hunter 2
Jelly Escape
Psychout
Hanna in a Choppa 2
There were 2 hotel simulators. I liked the one with the different types of guests.
