I’d like to see the default search in the Auction House be changed from 1-100 fortify to 1-200 fortify.

With introduction of Hades gear into game, more people are trying to sell their 200 gear to raise funds for second/third rebirth, hades gear, or other stuff. It seems as though a default search should include every item in the AH.

Note: I know this might be frustrating for people trying to do high level trades and whatnot, but with mail being sent out to the seller about who buys the item, easy to deal with if wrong person buys the item.

Pumps drop for free in Mysterious Island. Therefore doesn’t have to be just for buyers since could just be added to regular rotation of droppable items in Mysterious Island.

Furthermore, even if cost 15Ds, if buying it allows you to get chance at sunday drop, you need only save up tickets for a few weeks, sell some gold for Ds, and spam attack boss (which gives you chance for Legion drop hades if wait for right day).

Also, keep in mind that at end of sanctuary/MI many people need rebirth recast to beat it (a recast that is just about impossible to get with regular frag recast under current system). This way can get troops and can progress to/beat MI bosses sooner, which would allow chance at other pumps/Hades items dropping for free. A very good investment.

Since troops tend to be very important in certain areas of the game now (especially in Mysterious Island), I would like to suggest the following:

Mall pump that gives 50% troops bonus (20% would be all right too I guess)

Example:
Have 20,000 troops.
Use Troop pump +50%

Topic: Shadowland Online / MDef bug

It might be helpful when running the tests to ensure that the boss is not hit before it does the first attack (ie move attacking heroes to position 6+). It definitely seems like something is going on here, but when the boss loses life before first attack, it is harder to get accurate data. (in above case, boss was hit with shaman’s first attack in replay 1, but was not hit with attack in replay 2).

That said, the fact that in replay 1 where main has more magic defense, boss has less life, and main still takes more damage than replay 2 is quite odd.

Bug 1: Barracks troops not updated
I have not experienced this bug recently because I always update troops in barracks before entering MI.

Bug 2: Lack of initial starting position
I assume this is still a problem because the initial starting position disappears when you attack the first enemy. However, I am now strong enough I don’t lose first battle, so I can’t say for certain if has been fixed. (Assume not)

So in sum, although I don’t experience either of the two bugs anymore, I can’t say for sure if one or both of the bugs have been fixed.

Just thought I post on how to deal with the TWO one hero bugs in MI Instance.:

Bug 1:
This occurs when you lose a battle/legion in the Gate of ages and then immediately enter in the MI instance.

Since your troops do not update until you win a battle or manually recruit troops in barracks you will forever be stuck with 1 troop in the MI.

Solution Bug 1: Exit the MI instance, manually recruit troops, re-enter MI instance. This obviously wastes the ticket, but nothing can be done to salvage the wasted ticket, and can only prevent further waste by manually recruiting troops

Bug 2:
This occurs due to the fact that initial starting position disappears from system when attack first enemy.

Since initial starting position disappears, the first enemy you attack becomes your new starting position. (This occurs if lose first battle regardless of whether or not have updated your troops in the barracks before entering the MI instance)

There are three potential outcomes due to initial starting position disappearing:

Outcome A: You win the battle, creating a new “safe” starting position where you can rest and regain troops lost
Solution A: Everything is fine.

Outcome B: You lose the battle, but there is a chest/empty spot within 1 unit walking distance where you can “rest”
Solution B: Everything will be fine if you move to spot that is empty/has a chest and rest there.

Outcome C: You lose battle, but can only move to a spot occupied by an enemy. In this situation, you cannot progress (unless have reborn recast and it works) as will never have more than 1 troop since cannot rest on a spot where an enemy resides.
Solution C [UPDATED]: Attack the next possible enemy. As you are walking towards the enemy, quickly press rest and you will regain your troops (assuming don’t also have bug #1).
Credit and thanks to xsvenson for pointing out solution to this bug.

What devs need to do to fix the TWO bugs in MI instance:

Bug 1: Make sure that troops are updated even when lose a battle/legion in Gate of Ages OR make it so troops in MI instance are NOT affected by amount of troops in barracks

Bug 2: Make it so if lose first battle in MI instance, you return to the spot you started on when you first entered the MI, instead of just standing on the first enemy.

Thanks for your report. It is a error description. The potion of poseidon adds 20% to the magical defence. And i have reported it to our devs and will change it.

Also, heads up: The Potion of Odyssey says give magic defense +20% and gives magic defense. So will need to change one of the potions to actually give +20% Physical Defense (since have 2 Mag defense potions at moment). (Just mentioning in case didn’t realize)

Cheers to the devs for reintroducing the +20% physical defense potion (potion of Poseidon) back into the game in form of drop on mysterious island.

It seems the Devs coded the Potion of Poseidon wrong so it gives +20% Magic Defense instead of +20% Physical defense. In process of using/testing the problem, I used 2 potions of Poseidon, and 1 potion of Odysessy.

Stats without potions/boosts:

I guess this is confusing if you haven’t experienced it. Ignore the 1 troop issue. The problem has to do with a lack of a starting position in the area.

System working properly:
When lose battle, you fall back to the spot you were in previously.

In order to be in a spot you must defeat enemy. Therefore the spot you fall back to has no enemy. On spots without enemies you are allowed to rest and replenish troop using the rest function.

System as working here (broken)
The position you start at is one position away from first enemy.

You move to attack first enemy. Starting position is removed from system, and enemy location is set to new initial starting position.

This breaks the logic of the game because starting positions are supposed to be enemy free. But since there is any enemy there, you cannot rest, because you can only rest when there is no enemy. This leaves you with the only option of move forward, and since all spots within 1 walking unit are occupied, you are forced into a fight without troops. And when you lose =>

You are returned to the previous spot you were in (which is supposed to be enemy free), but in this case is occupied by an enemy and forces you into a fight.

To be clear it is not possible to replenish your troops. And yes, exiting the area (wasting your ticket) and re-entering would allow one more chance to attack the first enemy, it defeats the purpose of have a system of resting ect.

This is a glitch. Although it may seem confusing, when you report it to the devs they will understand. Just tell them the initial starting position in the mysterious island is not coded correctly and disappears when you move off of it.

lvl 89 ring fort 131 + lvl 89 ring fort 100 = lvl 89 ring fort 131 (no change)

At least for this, makes sense since cost stones to fort about 100. Otherwise could fort item to 100, merge with another 100 item to get 100+. This makes you continue to use stones (I think)

Since I immediately go into battle, I cannot “rest” to get full troops (I am stuck between 2 active enemies).

The problem is that there is no “safe” spot to fall back to if you lose the first battle in the area. IE when you typically lose a battle you go back to the previous spot where you can rest. Without a “safe” place to rest you stay on the enemy. This creates an infinite loop where are forced to be on “enemy occupied” spots and cannot rest to replenish troops. (Notice in screenshots how my main is walking in between two enemies that are within 1 walking unit from each other)

Thus display glitch or not, I cannot get back full troops since I cannot “rest”.

Fix: When enter the area create a spot so if lose first battle go back to it (at moment just stay on enemy occupied spot instead of “falling back” where can replenish troops)

Hope this makes things more clear

PS: had/have plenty of troops in my barracks inside my town. And although a 1 troop problem can generally be fixed by either recruiting barrack and/or resting inside area, the glitch forces me into battles endlessly without falling back to a spot where I can rest.

Mysterious Island bug. I entered and attacked the first enemy. I attacked the first sphere and it showed a fight with only 1 troop on my main. I lost. After that battle, my character sits on the enemy and I cannot attack or move forward. I rested my troops and this allowed me to progress to next battle (without beating previous enemy). I then attacked the next enemy and yet again only had 1 troop and lost. Then I was returned to the spot/battle I originally lost to and I then lose that battle as I only have 1 troop. (The main problem here being that no place to rest and regain troops am stuck between two enemies with empty/safe spot to fall back to and replenish my troops) Example:
1. Fight enemy A,
2. Lose to enemy A as only have one troop.
2. Move to fight enemy B,
3. Lose to enemy B as only have one troop.
4. Move back to enemy A,
5. Return to Step 1

This has been brought up before, but it has been a while so I thought would suggest it again.

The current Mall buffs are: Patt +20%, Matt +20%, and Mdef +20%. In order for the mall buffs to be a worthwhile investment there needs to be Mdef +20% AND Pdef +20%. It used to be only Pdef/Matt/Patt bonuses, and players asked for Mdef bonus. You brought in the Mdef bonus (good) but did so at the cost of the Pdef bonus (bad). Although the Mdef bonus is more useful to players than Pdef bonus (in high level T areas), you still need to have BOTH Mdef and Pdef bonus for the items to worthwhile for progressing in high level Ts.

Suggested Mall buff Items:
Patt +20%
Matt +20%
Mdef +20% &
Pdef +20%

PS: If the devs refuse to have both Mdef and Pdef at same time in mall, keep the Mdef instead of the Pdef. However, you are losing Ds because if had both defensive buffs, players would be more inclined to purchase the mall buffs. To be clear, there should 4 types of buffs if devs add in Pdef +20% (ie don’t remove any of Mdef/Patt/Matt buff to add in Pdef buff)

Could tell us which kind of pumpkin which you use, Happy pumpkin, Gold pumpkin or Mini pumpkin or tell us what effect the pumpkin has ?

I was using happy, mini, and ghost pumpkins at time. (so should have had 10% boost to Pdef/Mdef, 10% boost to Patt/Matt, and attribute bonus). I also took some screen shots/replays of me just before using the mini (patt/matt 10% boost) and just after using the mini (over in bug thread page 111: http://www.kongregate.com/forums/106-shadowland-online/topics/222522-bug-threads?page=111#posts-7164739-row)
