The creator of the room should have the option to allow or disallow people to choose teams.

While on the subject, the creator should also be able to set minimum/maximum level limits.

You can set it to whatever you want… just lower the min level to about 60 and still only pros will join

When you are the room host, there should be options to set:

-minimum level
-maximum level
-whether guests are allowed
-minimum rep (there are still quitters in 0+ rep games)

to minimize how many new/bad players can join.

When an explosion hits a column of land from the bottom, the terrain should fall by an amount equal to the length of land exposed to the explosion. For example, if a grenade detonates and a 50-pixel segment of wall is in the blast radius, the wall should fall by 50 pixels instead of dropping to the explosion itself. This would only cause a little bit more work for the computer.

Edit: to make this work, the new ground level would be whichever is higher of
1: how low it would be with the current physics, and
2: r|sin(arccos(x/r))|, where r is the radius of the explosion and x is the horizontal distance from the wall to the center the explosion.

1. Ankous. 150-300k/hour, good melee training, and they drop level 3 clues and starved effigies for bonus exp/money.

2. My kingdom gets me 1m+ each week, and the only work i have to put in is cut 14 maples to keep my approval rating up. Finish Throne of Miscellania and Royal Troubles, they are undoubtedly the two best quests for making money.

definitely a problem. This makes it so that addicted players are extremely weak (I got to level 40 in a day, and I almost always lose PvP), and the good players, who actually do less work in the long run, only get to play maybe 15 minutes a day.

Dream World intentionally designed it this way to get you to buy energy and gold, but most of the time it does not work. Spending money on the game increases how much you can play it relative to how much you already play it — whether you can play 10 minutes a day or 2 hours a day, it still increases it by the same percentage. Imagine you use 100 energy on average in an hour. If you buy 100 more, you can play for another hour. If you use 10 every minute, buying 10 will let you play another minute. No matter how you re-organize the system, it doesn’t change what you get for your money.

Anyone who is willing to spend real, hard-earned money will first check what they will get out of it. Because, as I said, spending money gives you a relative amount more time to play as opposed to a fixed amount of time, it will not affect how much they spend in the long run. People who will absolutely not spend money will either only play the fifteen minutes a day or quit. People who only pay if they find a game worth it are the type who would analyze the game first, and find that no matter how much time they play, the amount of money they would spend would not change and therefore would not spend more.People who would normally spend $5 a day will still spend roughly $5 a day, and maybe slightly more. People who spend as much money as they have can’t spend more money than they have, so they would spend the same.

Only the demographic that spends a few dollars a day on games no matter what will give more money because of the way Dream World organized it, but since all the other people will rate it lower because they have less time to play, the game will get less of the people who spend money playing their game.

Kingk, seriously, just re-work the system so that stats are more important than levels, and time spent playing is more important than the ratio of coins to experience you got in that time.

Topic: Kongregate Multiplayer Games / [Kongai] We Need a Better Anti-AFK System.

I hate having to wait 40 seconds each turn because my opponent is either AFK, has closed their browser or is intentionally waiting to make me want to leave. There should be a better system to get rid of people who do this, such as reduce the time limit to 20 seconds if you wait at least 30 for 3 turns in a row, and warn a player who waits until the timer runs out twice in a row that if they do it again the next turn, or they do it twice in a row at any other point in the game, they will automatically lose. Feel free to post any other ideas you have.

I think this:

Exploiters who can be proven cheating, but haven’t confessed, should be warned immediately and very mildly punished.

Exploiters who have been warned once should be banned for a week, and warned a second time.

Exploiters who have been warned twice should be banned based on the seriousness of their offense. (i.e., hacking to get infinite gems would be permanent IP ban, but something like glitching to win fights against CPUs would get a couple weeks)

Exploiters who confess after they are found to be exploiting, but before they are punished will get a lighter punishment if and ONLY if they immediately stop.

Exploiters who confess before they are suspected should be punished, but not by banning, if and ONLY if they immediately stop.

I would estimate that about 90% of the player maps I’ve played are either trampoline jumping, wall jumping, lava jumping or mazes. The point of this game was for the shaman to make a way to the cheese then back to the hole with the tools given. Now it’s a crappy platformer, where the only way to win is to have the best connection so you can get to the cheese first. The map editor needs to either be removed completely, or require 2k+ cheese collected to use.

DON’T BLOCK! in normal rooms it’s trolling, and in trolling rooms it sucks all the fun out because it makes the level impossible.

For trolling on player maps, I would say ONLY if the map can be done without a shaman. If the map requires an airship or bridge, or if the level is completely surrounded by walls, it’s almost impossible to troll without blocking.

The player map system should be edited. Some of them are awesome, but around 90% are either only trampolines, mazes, insanely easy or almost impossible.
To solve this, I think that there should be
a 25% chance of a developer-created map being chosen,
a 25% chance of getting a player map that is among the 100 highest rated maps,
a 25% chance of the most recently created map and
a 25% chance of a random player map.

I made a stupid mistake, and now my only weapon is 26 str, but i have 23. i can’t find any other weapon i can use and i sold the stick, and can’t use spells because i can’t attack. what do i do?
