I’d have to say my favorites are Frantic and Frantic 2. I found both games to be fantastic.

I also found Cube Colossus to be pretty good, but it’s not going to appeal to everybody.

Chrono Trigger is my second favorite game ever. The soundtrack is fantastic, the pacing is perfect and the battle system has some depth. The lack of random battles mean you can explore without being interrupted. Lots of incentive for exploration too with treasures and capsules. I love how the time travel mechanic is both a mechanic for gameplay and a tool for the story.

Amazing game, in my opinion.

Yeah, me too. Especially when you find out what you’re supposed to find out in the ending. I don’t want to spoil it for anybody, but it was definitely a surprise to me.

I always took breaks after fighting each colossus so it wouldn’t get repetitive. I like how lizards and fruits increase your stamina and health. They added some motivation for exploration.

I have only played SotC so I can’t really say which game is better. SotC was great, but suffered from being repetitive.

The final boss of Okami was massively disappointing. The fight was fun, but the design of the boss is not nearly as imaginative as I thought it would be. The earlier bosses had great designs.

Topic: General Gaming / best wii games

I love SSBB, it’s a great game in terms of content, and there’s a lot of fun to be had with friends. It just doesn’t cut it if you’re looking for a fighting game, though.

It’s too defensive and slow. The lack of hit stun and block stun hurt your attack options and encourages the use of projectiles. No combos or block strings.

Also, Metaknight is ridiculous.

Can’t wait for Tatsunoko vs Capcom though, it looks really kick ass.
