Thanks, I love all those probability researches ;)
Easy way to get more data is to play an infinite loop.
I suppose the probabilities are constant, and they don’t depend on the number of cards/ number of miracles played or anything else.
And while with miracle when you get the card it goes to your hand, you can make the loop a little bit longer before winning the game.

It seems unlikely the probabilities are constant. One of the Dev’s hinted at there being a secret in the algorithm and early data indicated cards would repeat more frequently in a game than overall. So the probability is probably dependent on your board/resource position.

This could be tested by going infinite with a lopsided board/resource state. Ex: Try to go infinite while gaining triple digit magic. Compare the gained cards against the gained cards from data dumps like this.

One thing I noticed today was that I seemed to get a ton of liturgies and benedictions. This was mainly when I had many things on my side of the board. (Mainly synods and usurys, not allies.) On the flip side, when I was low on health, I got a couple walls in a row. It is very likely that it is not random, as that would also explain other anomalies, (i.e. Why I got Coup de Grace 14 times out of the 16 times where got an uncommon blue card, or why I got stratagem 20 times out of 300 trials.)

I’m not really sure how to test this though. You can’t go infinite playing miracle, it doesn’t draw a card. If you get a green card you are good, but even then if it is something like Holy Wrath or Benediction then you end up killing the opponent eventually.

Some testing: Less than 3 cards on my side of the board, Enemy has none: Holy Wrath, Scavengers, Goat Outrider
Enemy has more cards than me (Greater than 3): Rampart
I have more cards than enemy (Greater than 3): Benediction, Stampede, Spy Network

Topic: War of Omens / How Miracle works:

Today I finally managed to acquire miracle, and was curious to how it works. I recorded what it gave me and created a spreadsheet to help analyze the data.

The Spreadsheet is visible here: https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/1HZzcLHybsl0YS1Cyi0s6ElFoooKOZeevBS5solIzInM/pubhtml

To summarize, there is about a 50% chance to draw a green card, 20% to draw a red card, 25% to draw a blue card, and 5% chance to draw a purple card.

Furthermore, 30% of the time the card is scare, 20% the card is rare. The chance to draw a hero card is also 20%. 15% of the cards are uncommon, and that chance is shared by common. However, this is not shared equally across faction. The chance to draw a blue hero card is a massive 10%, but the chance to draw a purple hero card is under one percent. Oppositely, the chance to draw a blue rare card is under one percent, but drawing a green rare card is around 15%.

Due to these oddities in probabilities, it appears that the cards given are on a list. Although the sample size is small, and I’m not sure I have all the cards possible to get, the trends are too different. I’ll continue to update the spreadsheet with information as I collect it; if you would like to help, please post your records in this thread.

Finally, the card gained costs on average 5 gold. This means to repay the cost of miracle(11 gold) it would theoretically have to be played 3 times. This makes Miracle a pretty potent card, and probably worthy of using, despite the gimmick.

Topic: War of Omens / Let us craft common cards.

It is annoying to have to buy a ton of useless oak packs every time a new common card is released. For the sake of simplicity, allow us to craft commons. This would also help new players acquire all of the common cards faster.

When buying things with kreds there is a note about a bonus. Is this bonus separate, or is it already included in the amount shown?

I just lost my savefile too.

Only 100B xp away from 9001, been mining for the past month and a half, and had 350K SCM.

Last backup was from 2 months ago.

Can anyone explain how to rebuild your file with SSF?

You need to unlock another garden, which is done by unlocking all 25 garden plots in the normal garden. Then, you can breed the seeds you get by harvesting trees in the normal garden. Finally, you get randomfruits by harvesting trees in another garden.

Topic: Anti-Idle: The Game / MEGATHREAD: Battle Arena

So, just came back to this game, everything is different. I’m wondering, what armor set should I go for in the BA. I’m rank 404, level 7396, have 10b pixels and 2b CM.

I’ve heard a lot about humblebee, but the absurd SCM cost would take forever.

I also just read about 500/500 knightmare, but getting the crystals would probably take even longer then the SCM.

Any advice?

Is their an easier way to get dragon boost, other then just hoping that you are lucky on the daily bonus screen?

Yes. That is how you know that robo is attacking. It will deal damage and consume 1 bacon. Furthermore, when robacon reaches a specific rank, it will learn skills that increase its effectiveness with certain weapons, boost combos, and so on.

On the topic of the badge, why is it called “Idle Hands?”

Why not something like “Just the beginning” or “Starting point” or even “The Bulk of Game?”

“Idle Hands” doesn’t even make sense.

Random Quest giving same quest, different reward.

I got a random quest to beat 7 level 4 enemies in Tukkun FCG. I skipped it, but then the next quest was the same. I know that this can happen, so I skip it again. However, this time it gave a different reward. (Awesome crate + BC if I recall correctly.) To make sure it wasn't just a glitch, I skipped it yet again and it still is the same quest, but now with the reward of a chaos crate and some BC.

Getting the exact same quest 4 times a row seems near impossibly improbable.

I was thinking the quest objective was stuck, while the rewards cycle to the next quest that I would of obtained.

I would've taken pics, but I didn't think anything of it at the time, knowing that I could just be insanely unlucky. I didn't notice the reward changes until the last quest, where I was looking to see if anything changed.

An impossible for ascending would be amazing.

This would be a Hard at absolute most, this is relatively super simple. Impossibles are meant to actually be extremely difficult.

The shortest new game to ascension time I have heard of was 19 days. The average seems to be around 70-120 days. Just due to time alone the badge should be an impossible. Something that takes that long to get should be an impossible.

Best spot is probably mining. Always rare or epic means that they are much more common then against normal monsters.

Topic: Anti-Idle: The Game / Suggestions!

First, I should have said “could of” instead of “would of.”

Second, it is a fact that when businesses were introduced they gave additonal rewards to tasks that you were already available to you which also gave rewards.

While it may be true that businesses have given you the inspiration to use the pre-existing features, that doesn’t make them vitally important to the use of the features. We already had incentives to use other features, namely achievements, quests (Both main and especially random), and careers. Businesses were another incentive on top of those pre-existing ones.

Let me remind you that the main topic that we are debating is the ability to have two active at the same time, not weather businesses are free or not.

So to get back to that main point, it is a bad suggestion to allow two businesses to be active at the same time. To make this clear, my main argument against it is that it would give too many rewards, on top of the rewards that you would receive from the task itself.

That post is so awfully written I don’t even know if it’s serious. Your argument is flawed and makes no sense.

Business doesn’t give rewards for free, you have to work for them. Since there are a lot of things happening in the game at the same time, you can effectively work on more than one thing. Also the scoring system often means you can’t change business after you stop working on the current feature, so you’re left with no choice but lose time you could use another business with.

BTW, I don’t agree 100% with the suggestion. I just don’t like it when people are against something and don’t give reasons better than “because I don’t want it”.

While my argument against it is “because I don’t want it,” Aurian’s argument is essentially “Because I want it.”

Businesses do give rewards for free; before businesses you would do the task anyway. When businesses were introduced they were pure power creep, and even now they still are. They allow you to get free career xp, and double career xp gain in the specific career chosen. Even if you have all careers maxed, they still give free experience, coins, and other specific rewards.

Basically, what I am trying to say is that businesses are free rewards, and we have no reason to ask for two to be active at once. The only reason I can think of is making the game easier. It doesn’t actually matter which one you pick, except for the rewards- with the one downside of businesses being that you can only have one active at a time.

I’ma go ahead and be the greedy person who states out loud what I imagine most people are thinking. I wish there was a ridiculously expensive upgrade that allows you to run two businesses. I’m constantly torn between running gardener and adventurer, and I wouldn’t mind spending A LOT to be able to run both. I’m thinking something like multiple purchases requiring YC/GC/BC capped.

This is a terrible suggestion. Businesses are free rewards, you get no bonus from having them activated. Since their is no reason to have them activated, other then the free rewards, so their is no reason to have two of them on at once.

What is the best type C weapon enhancement?

Depends on what you’re going for ;

On an epic rate set, you’ll want +XP/Epic kill, for offense you’ll want + equip attack, for offense early you’ll want +attack power, every purple bonus has its use…

Well, I put equipment attack on it, but it was only +15. What A and B bonuses should I get? My glaive currently has Reward and mastery, so it already has some pretty good bonuses, but is their any that are much better on it?

Where would you get these rocks?

Is there better ones then the crafted +20 attack ones?

You can craft +50 attack rocks i think…. lvl 10’s. Just get all the recipe’s you need first (its kinda of expensive also especially with all the success enhancers you need)

Just checked, you can craft +50 attack rocks for weapons, but +20 is the limit for armor. Is that the best armor rock in the game or is there a better one that I should attempt to get?
