On the seventh day, of the seventh month, of the seventh year, the seventh raven came to us…

Ofc, one of our archers shot the slow bird out of the sky with one wooden arrow ( no need to use the iron-tipped armour piercing onces..)..

The message was short..and the seal was from the noble-man who’s castle we were about to burn to ashes…

“forgive me my King….we ( cough…cough….) just don’t stand a chance against the Honor Guard..”

Much to our surprise the tiny castle had a fine cider-wine-cellar, and the local girls were somewhat pretty…

The Commander will be proud when I tell him of our deeds…

Alas! No whole bottles were found in the Ogres belly… but when we gutted him…we sure smelled an overabundance of strong liquor fumes… Some guards claimed to see pink elephants after…some guards claimed it was a pink dragon…

According to the burned bodies we found a bit later..it must have been a dragon….

• The Chests of Glorious Dawn gives you a chance to make one great item. There is very little chance of you not being able to make anything.

• This new WR gives you an amazing legion. Hell, Students with the new troops is a free legion that’s stronger than my PC legion Fellowship II. Which was obtainable from an expedition.

• (Unrelated to the anniversary itself) The Mini-WRs that pop up every so often give you access to gear comparable to PC stuff. Green Leaf is an amazing leveling set, better than PC gear like Dao or Ariala. The upgrades to Drake-Doom, Derek and Drake-Slayer gear makes them useful even on non-Dragon raids. And all four of the items are available for free.
• (Also unrelated to the anniversary itself) Even if a person missed out on the WR, great free stuff is still available through the Guild Raid Salome. Angels of Virtue is a damn good legion, especially if you fill it with the angel troops you get from Salome AND it has a proc on top of that. You also get boosts for free generals that weren’t that great stat-wise.

Hear hear…the complainers are just lazy not getting all the awesome free stuff!

The lag during the first few hours of a new WR is something most the high-levels are used to..If you guys ever want to have several World-raids open at once, you’ll have to fix this first.

Some reminders:

- Smoking is stricktly prohibited during this WR..remember age-old books are highly flamable!

- Building campfires to roast marsh-mellows during this WR is strictly forbidden…remember age-old books are highly flamable!

- Using spells with a water element in it ( including freeze and ice spells..) is strictly forbidden…remember in the old days they didn’t use water-proof ink!

- If you encounter a monster….just make sure you kill it without scratching any books…many awesome secrets are probably in the books…( We can sell those for goon money….)

-If all else fails….burn the darn Library….Who has time to read anyway…:P
