Wolf, there are many non-U.S. developers that get their games sponsored by Kongregate. If your game is good, and the staff wants to sponsor it, it does not matter where you live.

It means that game is very highly rated so far. You just can’t see the ratings until it gets rated 75 times. It happens pretty often, they just don’t stay on it very long at all.

Actually, it would be nice if we could get something like what facebook has where you have to send friend invitations to people, no more fan/friend stuff; only have real friends. While this is a good site update away it think it would be a huge improvement over what we have now. Maybe accompany it with a better private messaging system (No rush on that whispers work just fine).

We just have to remember to be patient, Kongregate is still beta after all. :)

What does is the content of a users post, the helpfulness of that user, and the behavior of that user. Don’t post for raising your post count; post to contribute to the conversation.

At least that’s how I see them.

If you haven’t published it there’s an option to abort the upload from its page.

If you have uploaded it you can’t delete it. You can use the contact link to ask the staff to remove it though

Topic: Kongregate / HELP ME

If you want to make games that can be uploaded on kongregate you have to make them, and save them as .swf formatted files. Some programs are: Adobe flash, LiveSwif, or FlashDevelop

Adobe flash is the easiest to develop with, Liveswif is good for beginners, but very limited, and FlashDevelop is nice, but very hard to start with.

LiveSwif and flashDevelop are free, Adobe flash is not cheap, not cheap at all! D:

It has API, just not highscores. Any game with a “chat light” has API. I’m not sure how much API it has though..

Since I don’t believe you are advanced at all in programming. If I was you I would Do a bunch of simple stuff and put it into one game. An “all-in-one” if you will. Maybe a button game, a snake game, a maze game, and the click counting game. Add all those together, and actually put some work into it, and you have an actual game

@Pink On your first suggestion the badges are given out based on rating. Unfortunately, puzzle games don’t get rated near as high as action games on this site. And to be fair, there is a good amount of puzzle games with badges on this site. I think what we need is a “sort badges by” option, that way they would be easier to find.

On your second suggestion I agree 100%; games come first.
