Topic: General Tyrant Discussion / My 2 cents about what this game was/is/or is going to become

intriguing topic no doubt…but if you step backwards a bit from your Heracles mention, there were other supposed game enders. When sundering ogre spams took to the streets people cried apocalypse just as much as they did with Herc. But the game moved on. I think there has been a significant shift (that you hinted at) in that for a long while the devs played it on the “safe” side when rolling out new cards and then at some point they took to the shake-things-up-a-bit approach. So for sure there are more eye-catching cards and gotta-haves..but as far as balance, I would contend that it’s still there, just at a higher scale of attck/health than was in the past. If anything, there are more strategies and more deck options. Where the early stages were plagued by who could get their omega/tia/preds out first, then it was SO spam then IM killed it and back to strike…seemed like it was always strike, something else, strike, something else, strike…. Now we have wall, strike, fear, siege, rally, summon, etc. giving a variety of options and opponents. I like it now. Like Muki said, be creative with decks and you’ll do fine…but maybe I’m wrong

i think it would be nice if for each deck you could set up some auto-play/defense options that controlled card priority on a scale of 1 to 3 or so. What I mean is, assuming the auto play currently just plays the first card drawn then the next to the last, with this option setting it would instead play the card with the highest priority of the first three drawn, then the highest priority of the two not played plus the next drawn…until the end. In cases of identical priority cards, auto would simply do what it does now—select the first drawn. It would bolster the difficulty of surging and allow cards with skills such as blitz to be more useful in def decks.
That said, I have very limited knowledge of the programming burden this kind of system would create…so for me it’s just a fun thought :-)

what about the heracles: attack increased from 2 to 4, health increased from 5 to 11, timer reduced from 1 to 0?? I guess that comes some other day with the second round of buffs?

main page health bar and in fight initial health is not consistent: before i went to the zombie horde, i waited until the main page health was 100% full, but when i clicked to fight, the initial health was around 85~90%

it would be interesting to see if the cheaper ninja ever catches up to or surpasses a more expensive ninja as far as the overall build…it seems that the 2 extra stat point difference may just disappear with a few randomized lvl ups

today when i logged on, i completed “three for one,” “there’s a new ally in town” and “not even enough to play volleyball” achievements but received 0 karma for them….when i refreshed the page, it showed 2 karma. where’re the other 4?

how about this for a skill…? “stimpack” for future 4 wait cards….each round of countdown there is a 50% chance to count down 2 instead of one making them have a great chance of activating early.
