Also, here are my top 10, for anyone who cares:
1. The World God Only Knows
2. Kill la Kill
3. Steins;Gate
4. Mirai Nikki
5. Bakemonogatari
6. Spice and Wolf
7. Tengen Toppa Gurren Lagann
8. ef- a tale of memories/melodies
9. Fate/Zero
10. Chuunibyou demo Koi ga Shitai!

I have no taste :(

No taste? I’ve seen all of those except ef- a tale of memories but I must say those are all great ones! (Though I wouldn’t put Chuunibyou in top 10)

Kingdom, why do you need to download Mushishi to watch it?

Also, it’s on Netflix if you have that.

FMA is not so great, but FMA:B is.

Full Metal Alchemist Brotherhood was redone after the crappy original Full Metal Alchemist.

Full Metal Alchemist: Brotherhood is very good.

too many favorites

If they allowed bigger lists I would’ve also added JoJo’s Bizarre Adventure (2012), Katanagari and the other 2 seasons of Gintama.
but if I were to choose ONLY one, that would probably be Gintama as a whole

Steins;Gate is just amazing.

Clannad: After Story is still one of the best

Kill la Kill was full of EPICNESS!

Have you ever seen No Game No Life? That’s on my favorites as the most recent, it was awesome.

Topic: Off-topic / [Chess masters] Goddamnit can any of you fucking explain why the sicilian defense is so fucking hyped?

Statistically, Sicilian has the best success.

As for the hype? Well, I’d say it is pretty friendly to many variations, just look:

1. e2 to e4

Now you have an open queen, bishop, knight with third move. Follow up with some pawns and the center is yours fast. e4 is a devastating control point for a player to have as the center is very valuable.

Rushes are pretty easy with this as well, since the queen is now open to strike. Using a knight or the infamous rush in 4 require Sicilian opening.

Anime is simply Japanese cartoons. How something looks is irrelevant. Another trend I find is that cartoons like Spongebob, Dexter’s Lab, etc, do not have any continuation. Every episode is its own, if they die in one episode, they are back to normal in the next. MOST anime is not this way (Space Dandy is one I can think of is) Attack on Titan, Sword Art Online, Full Metal Alchemist, and Steins;Gate are some examples. To the flip side, Avatar: The Last Airbender has new things each episode.

But overall, Anime is Japanese cartoons, Cartoons are non-Japanese anime :)

Shuffle! was one of my earlier animes.

It had a really awesome opening, an awesome twist, and overall is was pretty good.

I will eventually pick it back up…eventually. This year has been me watching the currently airing shows + 1 show that has already aired, I like this method best. Right now I’m watching Nisemonogatari.

Just finished watching Higurashi. It was decent, but it wasn’t as good as everyone told me it was going to be.

I have that on hold atm, about half way through the first season.

My thoughts so far on it is…it is mildly interesting but it reminds me of Haruhi’s endless eight. (Just not AS bad)

This guy has an amazing voice, he’s done other big things too, but the biggest difference is perhaps the laugh of Okabe.

Hmmm, seems like another recommendation. I might look into it in future.

Look into it in the present.

I can’t, because the present is this very second, or this very moment.

You’re right. Since this is the present everything you do, like going to The FUNIMATION Youtube Channel and start watching.

This is the dubbed version, btw. I’ve seen both and I think they did a good job at dubbing it, but if you prefer sub you can go here

Have fun,

Looking into the present is real psychic power.

The present is the most important part of your life is what I say.

The past is important so you don’t repeat it though.

Future? Eh, knowing your future would only cause problems.

The visual novel is very good as well. If you really insist on doing that instead, you can do fine by that. However, doing the visual novel will instantly make you want to watch the anime.

For what I’ve seen, it’s pretty good.

It’s just that it takes me an awful amount of time to finish watching an anime series.

You’re in luck. Once you get the ball rolling for Steins;Gate, it’ll fly. It took me 2 sittings to finish Steins;Gate man

I’ve seen a lot of anime, a lot of that could be considered “sad”

Here’s probably the top sad ones I’ve seen:

Clannad
Steins;Gate brings all sorts of emotion
Madoka Magicka is a little bit sad
Shuffle’s got some sadness to it
Gokukoku no Brynhildr
Elfen Lied
Angel Beats!
Little Busters?
Kotoura-san is depressing in the first 10 minutes of watching.

Obviously sad things are pretty relative to whoever is watching, of the ones I mentioned I have only cried to Clannad and Steins;Gate, but I believe the other ones are sad too.

Topic: Off-topic / Checkers or Chess

A famous chess player, Kasparov actually demonstrated the ability to draw nearly ever match, as he had 19 draws in a row against Karpov, an aspiring chess player. Kasparov was also losing to Carlsen (who was pretty young at the time), so he decided to draw it as he could not win.

I definitely prefer chess. So many strategies, openings, change in position, thoughts to go through.
