Even though Portal is a spin-off of Half-Life, it’s actually based on another game they took developers from to develop Portal (called “Narbacular Drop”). Their only original games are Half-Life and Half-Life 2 (+ episodes).

Same specs and release period as PS4. I won’t be surprised if the console waring worsens this fall.
Also, 10 of the 12 announced games are cross-plat. GGWP, Microsoft. The only ones that aren’t is another Forza and some Hollywood-esque game that’s supposed to blend TV with gaming (probably an interactive movie of sort).

I like the idea of cross-OS so you can for example Skype while you play, but the kinect and voice operations are just silly gimmicks.

Hard-shell taco, nachos and tortilla chips are made of corn, so you can eat those things. They’re glutenfree.

As for me, I like the hard-shell taco (or other shape-variations of it) the most.

Their lengths are k (they’re at least not Mirror’s Edge), but they’re very repetitive and easy which bothers me with the series. And even though it’s supposed to be a stealth game series, you can easily beat up enemies directly. Which makes the stealth pretty pointless.

Looks pretty handy when on a vacation somewhere. Video capturing, screen capturing, GPS and google questionings/convertors all on your eyes. That’s pretty cool.

By the video it seems to be controlled by speech recognition. It has only two buttons as far as I can see.

In my country the waiters are mostly high school students who just want some extra cash, and the pay is not bad either. So I don’t need to tip, and don’t either.
And IMO, I think tipping should rather be for the cooks/chef, not the waiters. Since they’re the ones actually preparing the food. There’s not much to rate a waiter on, since they just take orders and give us the food/drinks. How fast and the quality of what we get is dependant on those who make it.

Knack looked at least interesting. I’m also glad they’re gonna give it 8GB of RAM this time, which should help for the framerate issues from the previous console. I just hope their launch won’t be as big failure as the PS3. Which would mean they at least need to keep backwards-compatibility away from it.

It was originally called Metal Gear Solid: Rising until Kojima moved the development to Platinum Games under Metal Gear: Rising Revengeance with script by Kojima (reason was that they had a lot of difficulties with the genre they were making it in, so they needed a company which is more experienced with those kind of games, like Platinum Games). The name change was made to reflect that it isn’t part of the main series, but a spin-off.

As for what game; I’m not really interested in Crysis, but MG:RR looks pretty fun (and I love beat em up/hack and slash games) so I’ll be getting it whenever it comes in the mail.

Actually, they only allow one child per family, not two (exceptions to twins and rural families).
