Army or any form of Military gives you free college, all you got to do is serve 4 years and then you’re free.

It’s a free ride.

Actually you have to give 2 years of service for every year of schooling. If you go to school for 4 years you have to serve 8 afterwards so basically you are in service for 12 years. I’ve looked into this and applied many times.

However our Military gives you free college/university.

I’ve been trying to enter that programme for 4 years since I was 16. Again it’s nearlt impossible to get into unless you have parents who are already in service.

I want to join the United States Army but I’m a Canadian citizen. What is the process I would have to go through. I assume I’ll need a Green Card. So I’ll need a job. Can I apply for the military and use that job offer to obtain a Green Card?

Any suggestions or advice?
