Hand management is a minor strategic part of the game… clogging your field with weak allies with opponent having stealth/flying allies while you only draw monsters is one of the things you have to consider now, not being able to discard… also this feature could be abused early game (if it costs no mana) to get rid of non-optimal cards to get into your combo pieces much faster (you won’t usually summon the first 2 rounds, when going first)… there are much more things to say, but I’m sleepy so … bottom line I find it interesting, not really necesary, but a nice thing to have(must cost mana :)) )

Interesting… I’m usually in in top 300 even after only playing in the last two days of the arena … and I ain’t spending $ on this game, and the lvl of a couple allies i have is barely 20 …
hmmm seems that 3.3k honor nets your ~rank 180
Speaking of campaign .. any tips on defeating Spirit of the Hunts?

Spell/Abilities … means Spells and Champion Abilities, if they don’t target … Ally “abilities” don’t usually target a certain enemy ally, they either go for the whole field or for what’s in front of them
For example … Veil makes an ally untargetable with spells such as Dispel, blood abilities such as Crowes Deadly snipe BUT it won’t work on spells such as Plague Swarm, blood abilities such as Ramsess’ Ignite(that is if there’s another enemy ally to target) and on any ally “abilities” such as the Blast of Battlemage or the Strike of Deadly Scorpion
Hope that explained it … veil can be a real pain when I’m running Crowe and I can’t snipe a mofo out of the play-ground

Unfortunately concerning Phoenix, Temple Monk, Deadly scorpion (they all work the same) I think it works the following: “When he enters play, the ally opposing it is dealt damage equal to its power.” .
I got just as fooled as you did with deadly scorpion … then I realized it would’ve somehow reduced the incentive of leveling up the card since the damage is not proportional to the power of your Card but of that of your opponent.

Well….this used to be good…

Rule 259: Each card summons exact copy of itself on played. This does not effect cloned cards. Activation summons disallowed (except with action cards). Summoned cards gain this ability as well

Won’t work, the rules of the game say all 50% chance abilities work 100% of the time, so tiamat always flies and never gets hit by your vengeant.

Except that vengeant will survive until the infinity-th turn and by then that rule breaks down, or at least it has every other time I’ve used this kind of counter.

So the moral of the story is …. stallmate is a win too?

well obviously in the “Best and worst card in a gold tourney” the award should go to Tremor Showerhead(foh da best) and for the crappiest of the places, worse even than ORBO, should be mr. Grinder

OLD RULE: Rule 245: Cards gain the skill “strike one.”
