Because one game is more expensive than S&P2 doesn’t make S&P2 cheap, just like grey being lighter than black doesn’t make it white.

You might have noticed that their price comparison involved only Card Monsters and they made no such comparison to S&P2. As they next point out, S&P2 is potentially quite cheap or even free. Granted, that only applies to people with a modicum of strategy. Sorry if that leaves you out in the cold.

I mean I don’t even care who maintains S&P2 if someone’s willing to do it. I could do a better-than-nothing job myself if I had access. But I did get the impression that a particular individual did the bulk of the creative work here and I’m wondering if they are involved now.

On the off chance optimism isn’t a ridiculous concept here.

Can I be on the player council? I have led my city to be undefeated at city wars. And I have had eleven beers tonight, which could be construed as a misspelling of elven beers, which should have been a sorceress item from the beginning.

1) I have no idea.
2) Probably it was fire sword, then fairy bow.
3) Jeweler.
4) I didn’t keep track by worker. I was looking at commons in terms of level, doing all level 7s across all workers, then all level 8s, etc. I do remember that the last t3 recipes to finish was man handlers and blue lagoons. Last t4 recipes to finish were horns of ages and mindful staffs.
5) Rare recipes actually finished went about in the order of: fairy bow, fire sword, paladin’s heater shield, evasive armor, elven commander, yeti armor, dominus, moon stone staff, healer’s companion, dreadstick, phoenix baton, adamant spear, courier’s sandals, opal helmet.

Vest of lies, dragon powder, foundation ring, breath of frost = very close though I dunno if I will bother to finish.

One of my workers is researching a recipe. Just one. However, ALL of my workers are showing recipe research icons for whatever they happen to be making. Hard to explain so here is a screenshot:

Jeweler looks like he is researching the Symbol Of The Gods. But as you can see, that’s impossible because he’s already made quite a few of them, and is about 4/5 through that progress bar. All because Tinkerer is researching mithril shurikens at this same time.

dual-wielder’s gloves don’t show up in my inventory. I have a bunch of them but I can only see them when attempting a trade, but not in the inventory by either the inventory button in or clicking the chest.

I haven’t checked what other items are not showing up.

dual-wielder’s gloves do show up in world trade, checked that too.

Ok I wish I had the patience to read through all these existing bugs, but it’s longer than 3 pages, so I don’t. At the risk of repeating others:

1. When I view the shops of others, I see my walls. So, everyone shows as mahogany no matter what. And they see only theirs.

2. “Gone on a quest/hunt/job (will not visit shop)” designation in the customers listing is entirely haywire. Those gone on a Dungeon quest are NOT given the “will not visit shop” marking, yet, they indeed will not visit the shop. Those gone on an Event quest DO get the “will not visit shop” marking, but… here they are, visiting my shop! Hunt/quest/job seems to imply all of them, so I don’t even know what the plan was but it’s messed up.

3. We can’t see our resources while not in shop. This is such a sorely needed feature that I’m calling it a bug not to have it. Recipes, also.

Love the game!

The knight’s hauberk is given a helmet icon, and categorized as a helmet, but in every outside source I look at, a hauberk is a shirt mail. Someone asked me if I had a knight’s hauberk, and I had no idea if I did or where to look for it. So I googled hauberk to see what general category of armor it fell into. And the result (something you wear like a shirt) led me to look at my armor tabs, which led me to say, no, I don’t have one.

But really I had 11.

I think it makes sense for upgrades to come with upgraded art. The lowest rung could be MS Paint 4/1 type art… that could be level 0 downgrades with terrible stats. It could be a source of gold revenue to downgrade your cards to MS Paint art instead of selling them.

The authors of the <desc> and <speech> text have been grossly inconsistent on whether one or two spaces should lie between sentences. I’m not going to take a side on what is right, but for a stretch of early missions the <desc> consistently uses one at the same time <speech> is using two. I will be holding off on warbond purchases until one or the other is decided upon.

Although, I don’t think the artists would be the ones making this art. This is pretty much what genuine efforts at artwork by programmers looks like.

If these things bother you so much, sure, you could speed them up slightly.

Keep working at your quest decks to the point where you can do them all with a few decks. “Whatever I’m currently using in faction wars” is a win for most raids and for certain quests. The only time I ever Edit Deck is to swap out for a more appropriate commander, which usually means Emanuel for Behemoth.

Your memory should eventually cover the association of enemy visual with quest step number, and you can force the issue by spending one of your twenty minute sessions developing a memory aid. “Look for your deck for that step number” should mean nothing more than looking for a predefined in-game deck whose name can be a list of quest steps it is meant for.

With raids, try to do them all, without focusing on any one raid. With a modicum of flexibility you should never have to start your own raid or find someone else to (except during events, in which case, give up).

- ui overhaul? why? i like how it’s 4 clicks to get to tournament history; finding way to start new raid every time is like a mini quest; scrolling to first zone with each new event is the best part of it

Finding what finished raids have unclaimed rewards is a simple matter of trying them all.

Checking what the next tournament will be is a simple matter of “Battle”, “View” (the current tournament), “<< Main”. Only 3 clicks if you know what to click.

The “hide card filters” button is… possibly the most useful button ever for people owning 20 cards or less and who want to see what a strip of the lower midsection of the background image looks like.
