GiTD [#32] Voting finished! [imp2]
imp2 – Theifer O’Greedy
Loved the game concept, I’m terrible at it however
Elyzius – The Proper Care and Feeding of Your Demons
I loved the idea but the actual combat has too much luck involved in it for my taste also not a fan bejeweled
VBCPP – Mr. Collecter
This could work, mainly because of the spelling, you can instantly tell this game is going to be derpy, trolly and awkward but needs more work :D
gobologna – Cat Burglar
The idea is pretty cool, the danger meter feels like it goes down way too slowly and that granny should be restrained seemed to be impossible to defeat her after she comes out.
I_love_you_lots – Collectron
Love the idea I can see this become something amazing, keep on working on it! The art style is really cool. The controls however feel a bit clunky or maybe it’s just my terrible platform skills.
Sushin- TheCollector
Feels retro but I didn’t have much fun in it, probably because everything was thrown in carelessly
nutter666 – BodyBagger
Inputting the comic was awesome the game itself gets boring quite fast due to the game mechanic itself just getting repeated over the 7 minutes of gameplay
Kewry – Hunting Sim
Good concept, looks terrible, feels terrible, clearly gave up halfway. The nearly unnoticeable collecting is there in many ways which makes the theme fit in amazingly by using it but not abusing it while making it a game mechanic through levels, head hunt and a hidden quest system based off the Big Game Hunter contest.
Using the spa as a moment for reflection was an innovative idea, which worked to certain point, the unfamiliarity of the players with such idea left a few confused also a few of those probably did not read the short instructions. The stats balance was terrible, you get dexterity to 20 and game done, not even needed to buy a better weapon with a bit of luck you can deal the 2000 damage required to kill the elephant in less than a second. This unbalance, and others, caused the game to end really fast which sort of kills the idea of idle games.
The shops were built the way they were due to time constraints, giving the player the option to change weapons at that time was a bad action due to a design flaw in the shop system, fixing it would likely have eaten the time left.
The combat text was a terrible idea, it consumed too much time to build it while in the end it was very buggy. Should’ve taken a different path with more visuals.
The game as it stands is very incomplete, it’s missing over 100 animals, weapon crafting (you can’t sell stuff because of this! you’d use the elephant trunk to make the insaniest slingshot ever which shoots chicken’s beaks), companions (ie: hunting dog), random events (chests, baby birds dropped off nests, lawsuit for shooting another hunter) and horse breeding.
BadEgg – Klecter
The idea is pretty cool, if you manage to enforce a community challenge within the game, as in, cause competition between players this could become pretty great. The AI is very dumb as is.
Russpuppy – Photo Collection
I already gave all the feedback I could on your game in the discussion and submissions thread, your game is one of my favorites this GiTD however it feels very incomplete
FadiLoutf – Forest Of Death
The slow facing movement (mouse) made me instantly not enjoy this, I NEED my mouse to be VERY fast or it’ll destroy my patience really fast, even after the menu it’s still very slow for me. The combat was missing that feeling of a shooter, lacked recoil too. Keep working hard it might get somewhere!
MrHasuu – Surviving in the Wild
Mushrooms are awesome! Loved the concept and all the wall jumping
