The tournament went okay, didn’t expect much. It seemed to be more of a contest of who was available the most… but I guess that’s how co-op goes. Next time (if there is) should just stick to the leaderboard fashion that we had in the last two rounds so everyone can participate throughout the whole thing. Should also allow each team to be excused from one single week because probably most people can’t do every week.

I think the challenges were a huge pain in the ass and a little stupid, but it was great how you guys kept up with it.

Requirement

Get as many points as you can this round. The points are calculated as followed. Your points for this round will be added to the previous round. You have an option between two challenges. You may change your mind and switch between them ny time you want, but only one will count.

Option 1: 30 points for each submission whose scores are exactly the same (I will accept a +/- 2 second error). The time score for each run cannot be the same (NOT counting the +/- 2 error). For example you submit one co-op run, then you run again, ignoring one mimic, while finish 10 seconds faster, and the submitting that score will get you 20 more points. You are capped at 120 points for this option (4 same score submissions)

Yes, submitting any score will guarantee you 30 points.

OR

Option 2: Your score for the co-op minus 1800 divided by 3 rounded down. (= +1 points for 3 points above 1800). There is no max for this score but you probably won’t get more than 130 points for this option (nearly 2200 points).

Bonus Points:
(for option 1 the following only applies to one run, and only one run)
+ 3 points for each hoarding title.
+ 3 points for each person completely nude. Yes. completely. Only thing you may wear is hair.
+ 3 point for each person that is a ferric

+??? points from KaiJai’s mystery condition. For this part, she has created her own small point value based on a mysterious thing, but hidden until the end of the round. Since you have no control over it, I will make sure it won’t be game-breaking (but that doesn’t mean it won’t change the results of the game). It’s just for fun. The conditions have already been decided and locked away until the end.

I meant for the first team to finalize their score (meaning no-more submissions) will get extra points. I just put that out there so every team doesn’t just play chicken til the very last day. I remember that I said I’d accept private submissions and hidden scores, but I think I’ll throw that out. Sorry for any confusion.

RoS Tournament – ROUND 2

Time to be like crappy game show host heheheh….

Congratulation on making it to round 2! Nobody will be eliminated this round, but the results of THIS round will affect how the final/next round ends. The remaining 3 teams will just be point-grabbing for this round and the next and the two teams with the most points at the end of both rounds will win kred prizes. (honestly I should have just done this for the whole thing, but oh well) I can guarantee that the next round will be worth equal or more points than this one. If one team does not show up, I will be making some changes.

Requirement

Just submit screenshots and try to get as many points as possible. Your score for this round will be added to the score for the next round, which will decide who wins the tournament. Points guide for this round:

+50 points for everyone
- 5 points for each monster kill past the 44
- 1 point for each geode you pick up

+10 points for each person playing as a ferric

-10 points for a geode hoarding title
+10 points for each silent title
+30 points if one person gets a death title while the other gets a 0 hit title.
+?? points for each “Best Dressed” title (don’t worry about this :P, won’t be game-breaking)

+10 points for the first team to submit their FINAL score.

Keep in mind that I am only counting the titles that show up on you result screen.

Peak Trek (Ends 3/31)

Requirement

Get as close to 158 geodes collected as possible as quick as possible in Peak Trek.

Formula: 100 – geodeDif + Time/20
geodeDif is the absolute difference between your geode score and 158
Time/20 is your time bonus divided by 20 rounded down.

You must get more points (following the formula above) than your opponent to advance to the next round.

So if your co-op score is 573 time and you had 165 geodes, your score would be 121.
And if your opponent has 450 time and 158 geodes, your opponent will win with 122 points even if they are much slower.

So basically, one geode closer to 158 is as good as saving 20 seconds. (Time does not matter as much, it’s rounded down)

Tiebreaker: In case of tie, the team with the most total points in their run wins.
