Hey, I just got a new computer, so now I can actually play games here again without unbearable lag but, obviously, my data is gone. My dad, a computer technician, has looked for it a few times, but hasn’t been able to find it. Where the heck is it stored? (Not sure if it makes any difference/is any help, but the old computer had Windows XP)

I tried hard refreshing, it still took 3 tries to load them, waiting about 30 seconds each time. I don’t know what add-ons we have, but my dad says he doesn’t see why they would cause lag or loading issues. :\

Like, boot the computer up in safe mode and load firefox then? From what I heard safe mode makes it really laggy, but I guess I’ll try it sometime (I have to go to school soon).

I know there’s a sticky about sticky keys, but that’s for IE. I’m in Mozilla Firefox, and sometimes they still stick. No, they aren’t sticking physically and yes, I’m sure I’m in Firefox.

Also, often when I load up a game, either the chat box or the game (sometimes both) won’t load. It used to be, I could just refresh it, and it’d work. Now I usually have to refresh it 2 or 3 times before both work (chat usually loads the first time, or if not, then the first refresh).

So yeah, two really annoying things. Also, neither of these happen on other sites. I tried a few keyboard (arrow keys specifially) only games on armorgames and newgrounds, they work fine. No sticking, loading on the first try, and no lag. Oh yeah, I forgot to mention, games on Kong tend to lag quite a bit too. My computer is fine. My dad actually just took a ton of stuff we didn’t need off the hard drive, so in theory it should be faster than ever. And he’s a computer technician as well, so he certainly didn’t do anything wrong.

tl;dr: Kongregate hates me. Help.

Are you sure your keys don’t stick physically? Have you tried cleaning your keyboard (which is something anyone should do anyway, those things are full of bacteria and it greatly improves its performance)? Do the keys stick in other browsers? Do they stick when Firefox is in safe mode?

They aren’t sticking physically, I’m quite sure of that.

When I’m loading a game, sometimes the screen is just black. Sometimes the chat never loads. Sometimes it’s both. If any of this occurs, I refresh, and it’s all good. But I would like to know what’s going wrong.

The other thing is, my keys stick (virtually, not literally), but I have not been able to find any help because I’m on Firefox. It’s only on Kong though.

When I’m playing games, sometimes the keyboard will just stop working for a few seconds and do whatever key I had just pressed. Ex: in moneyseize, I’m moving right and press jump, it keep moving right for a bit, then stops and I regain control. I haven’t noticed it on other games I play, RuneScape and them don’t seem affected…. (I play RuneScape on Swiftkit not Kongregate). My Dad just gave our computer more RAM, and modified the login features, as well as deleting a bunch of useless stuff and defragging the hard-drive. It slightly improved after that, but not much. It never did this before, any help would be appreciated.

Fatal fortress is one of those big high-level gold-rewarding quests, so it’s helpful to be like level 75+ and be hitting 200s with your regular attack.

Actually I think skill affects moves’ accuracy. But I’m just basing this on Fire Emblem because all the skills in this game are nearly identical to it.

don’t worry, all the stores stay the same, except for the witches stores (with the life and mp up), they just restock.

As the name suggests, I’m having trouble figuring out what piercing is in Sonny (I havn’t played sonny 2 yet so if it explains it in that game don’t yell at me).

I THINK piercing is breaking through an opponent’s defense with that type but I’m not sure.
