This might work. Although it appears to be an extensive looking for loop-de-loopholes and Wal could easily make a specification. Maybe we could just use synonyms for oft-used ter’r’ms instead?

Evening came, and morning followed. The first day.

Morning assembly arrived for the recently-arrived. The students gather in the main hall, which has a dining and seating area on one side and a stage on the other, curtain closed. There’s breakfast to be had, but when a voice booms out through the intercom system most appetites are ruined. The voice just seems…sinister, in a way that can’t quite be placed. “Good morning, as your peculiar sentiments go. This is the headmaster. To make sure we start on the same page: You will never find me. You will not escape until I’m done with you. Don’t bother trying either. The last group found out the hard way: No survivors and no news reached the outside world. I am all-seeing, all-knowing, and all-powerful. As most of you don’t know – after all, your heads are mostly empty or you wouldn’t need to be here – there are killers among you. Along with several other skills you’re learning to harm each other and society in general. So there’s my opening speech and all that skillful oratory which probably went right through that empty space and out the other ear. Enough already. I’m just going to show you.”

The curtains on the stage open. A rigid corpse lays there, almost as if in sleep were it not for the two silver bullets next to it and the fairly noticeable holes in the head. And, of course, the expression of shock, the mouth in a scream cut short. Oddly enough, there are no teeth in the mouth and it wears a miniature gold pentagram.

A set of statues materialize upon the stage floor. The eighth from left, sixth from right has no head, and it looks fairly well-muscled. Beyond that, the statues all eerily resemble the students. The students count among themselves – as the headmaster said, one is missing, apparently the one on-stage. But when they look back, the corpse is gone.

“You have today,” the headmaster cuts into the shock with his malevolent voice, “to choose one from among yourselves to die in sacrifice to me – that is, in justice for this shadowy death. Your time starts now.”

Afterwards, one student in the back – mandatory ID tag reading ‘Jaskaran2000’ – was muttering quietly, “…great…and this is after I let that smooth talker buy my vote…well, at least it was some quick money. Now I just have to get out of here alive with it.”

AdeebNafees, the Bodyguard, was killed last night – perhaps twice, perhaps not – after being both recruited and silenced.
Jaskaran2000’s vote was bought by the Persuader.

Day 1 begins now. Any roles which still require information will receive it shortly.

Let me quote that from the last mafia I argued about that on.

The first gathering of the students, an assembly after their arrival. Most traveled great distances and only arrived this late. The sun’s down, and in the mostly-empty building there are maps and schedules on a main table. Each student knows his or her respective class, but generally no others do.
