So yeah, from what I've seen it's actually been more moderated over the past month than it's ever been. bq. I see at least 5 violations of the posted rules, and I just browsed for 5 minutes! It changes on situation, I suppose. The Off-topic forums tends not to be as strict as some of the other forums here, due to its nature. Just make sure to 'flag posts'. From my experience, the forum mods are pretty good about taking care of things. If you feel a post really needs to be removed, and you've already flagged but haven't gotten a response in a while, try to find one of them in chat. Otherwise, you can just ignore it. Hm. Well there are plenty of bad games, most of which you'll never played. I'll try to sneak a vote in here. I really like these quite a bit. :) 1st - Oboe_Passion - I just liked this one a lot. It's really original and unlike any signatures I've seen so far in this forum. Most signatures I see are pretty similar to the next, but this was really creative. 2nd - yuyuter - Loved the yellows and blues. Bright, attractive colors are my favorite part of signatures, and you nailed it for me. The only thing I didn't like were the couple of light beams over the figure. 3rd - rawismojo - This one was good also. The text placement seemed nice and I like how the player was position. Most people who know me would know what score I'd give this song. I didn't bothering listening through the whole song since I've heard it many, many times before. Since it's Modest Mouse. But its an awesome song, indeed. And Modest Mouse _is_ the sort of band that you need to listen through the whole song, since they change so frequently. Uh, I guess it depends on what type of animal I'd be. There are certain animals I wouldn't be so thrilled about being, like krill. Who would want to be a krill? Or some sort of extremely endangered animal that is frequently hunted for. That would build in a strong sense of paranoia from day one, I suppose. If I were an animal I'd like to be a house cat, so I could lay around all day and do whatever I want. The only down side would be a lack of private parts, I suppose. Or I'd be an eagle, since it would be amazing to fly around up in the sky all day. The other option is of course a Pokemon. Since Pokemon are obviously three to eight times more exciting than the average animal, they're really the only good choice. On the other hand, they shouldn't have been spamming in the first place. It's always sad to see good threads locked, especially when they were original topics. Yeah, Kongregate is growing a lot. It's been hitting new highs of users online frequently over the past couple of months. I've found this particularly strange since I always assumed summer was when sites got their largest activity booms. But yeah, new rooms are being created all over the place now, which is a good thing. There are still more to come, I believe. All with moderator room owners, so no 'jimgreer' rooms yet! There have been a lot of new features, so new users are joining. If you look at Kongregate five months ago to right now, it's changed quite a lot in a small time. Yeah, Kongregate is growing a lot. For instance, if this thread were to be hijacked with a couple pages of spam, I'd really rather not have it locked because of a couple of people trolling. It would be better that those posts be removed and the thread would continue, since there seems to be no point in restarting a thread because of a couple of hijackers. I think this could say the same for larger threads that stick around for a fairly long time doing well, only to be hijacked by a couple of people. I mean, if the thread was slowly and slowly sinking down into spam, then it seems like it ought to just be shut down. The last couple of people I've known that was transgender lived pretty tough lives simply because of the sex change, and I would rather stick with altered gender than go through that. :P I'm hoping the testosterone/estrogen levels would be altered as well. If you want to make a topic for the purpose of making a topic, it probably won't be that difficult for you to think of something. On the other hand, if you actually want to make a _good_ topic, that will take a little more though. The type of topics that last long are the ones that the most people will be interested in, obviously, and that people feel they can and want contribute to. Sort of like the Ultimate Photo Topic. :P The rest of the long-lasting topics are things like The Council which aren't one topic but rather a congregation of topics/some sort of group. There isn’t much a ‘theme’ to it, though you could say the majority of the games are ‘endurance’ themed, matching the Stride contest, though I think pairing them might not be the best idea, as some of the chosen games don’t fit into that category. (yay for run-on sentences!)

The tournament is coming up and instead of coming up with something with Frogmanex and/or googoolyeye, I think it would be best that the Off-topic forums get to decide what the tournament be named. So I would like to ask you guys what _you_ would like as a name. Anything works, as long as it isn't too long to fit into one banner. Needless to say, try to keep it PG-13. Any other suggestions are also welcome. Any games or theme/style choice suggestions will definitely be considered, as we're still in the creation phase. The tournament is pretty basic. It's a simply elimination challenge with a new game to compete on every couple of days. It will be similar to some of the large-scale tournaments in the Kongregate forums like The Gauntlet, except it will be confined to the OT forums and it's regs. This is old news, Toaster. :P But yeah, I suppose it was pretty epic. That's quite a lot of people getting rick rolled at one time, and many of them not knowing what's going on. I still think it's hilarious that Rick Astley actually bothered to do this, and that the creators of that cartoon were okay with it.
