Good work sparta- it is a game with boatloads of potential and replayability. Like so many others have mentioned, it is just a damn shame it can’t be ported to a web-flash version for kong itself. Regardless, well done. (In what other game can i kill midgetman by allowing him to be poisoned to death :D )

Topic: Kongregate / Caravaneer Legendary Game Bonus

Caravaneer seems to have a rating of 4.5 with 2547 votes (http://kongregate.com/games/SugarFreeGames/caravaneer)

SugarFreeGames didn’t get the legendary game bonus (http://kongregate.com/accounts/SugarFreeGames/rewards)

Is there an error in the code? Or do you actually need more than twenty five hundred votes (!) in order to get the bonus (that caravaneer definitely deserves)

Wow- that didn’t turn out like I’d hoped.
It is a X made of swarm towers, with the spaces filled in by boost towers. I then augmented extra swarm towers on the four sides of the cross. So I ended up with 9 swarms and four boosts supporting them.

Thanks, Nick- fantastic guide.

On a side note, I nudged some of the walls of the maze around so I was able to build a swarm-factory in the middle that looked like this- it worked really well for me.

I would appreciate seeing RSS feeds for the following:
1) new games
2) games that just received: good game bonus/rad game bonus/totally awesome game bonus/legendary game bonus
3) friend’s favorite games and most importantly
4) new badges or cards

Please- as a “web 2.0” game development site it is almost required by the Internet2.0CodeOfConduct that you set up an RSS feed, :). Thanks.

you can see he got the totally awesome reward seven times and the rad game award twice

according to the point FAQ the most you can earn for any game is 600 (each one of the four awards once)

(don’t get me wrong, jelly blocks is an amazing game :)

As per suggestions: have you considered providing badges for achieving a certain numbers of other badges? I (and I know others do) take pride in the legions of badges that Kongregate has provided for entertainment, and I also take pride in collecting as many as possible (immaculate desk badge is ridiculous, by the way). A bonus badge (or maybe just some other kind of marker) to show when a user has attained 10, 20, 30, 100 badges would be a neat way to gage progress. Thanks for the website- it is really an awesome business model/idea and really well implemented.
