I like the sound of this. I don’t think you should have to sacrifice reputation for those boxes, but it would rock if there was a mission with a reward based on your reputation. Since there are two adventure areas, I was thinking it would be sweet to have the VIP dungeon that requires say 10K reputation to go in, and it gives sweet stuff and less of the sucky ones. Maybe also make a place that requires 100K and is even better, and again for a million. Then you make the boxes random results of the adventures in the higher level zone rather than something you can buy with reputation, so even the people who cheated for a billion reputation would have to click a lot to get those adventures.

I didn’t know the max level, but it amounts to the same thing. At best you can change your music station without losing progresses. The first progress extension is useful, if overcosted. The others are just overcosted nearest I can tell.

I did get the progress extension once, but haven’t gotten so bored to buy it beyond that. Its a case of diminishing returns really, you get less of an extension and the ultimate benefit of being able to store up 5 anti-idle progresses is that you can tab over to your music station to skip a bad song without losing anything. I’m sure I’ll get them at some point, I’m just not excited about doing so. The adventure trophy used to be really good for me as a weapon. Later on it was still a good source of pixels. Now the only thing pixels can buy for me are HP and MP, and the exchange rate isn’t such that trophies make that much of a difference.

At some point it’s not worth clicking through adventures when the stakes are so insignificant. I don’t believe level has anything to do with adventures, or their effect is negligible. I find the idea of mystery crates appealing because hopefully there is enough goo stuff in the crate to justify time spent. Then again, why complain about time wasted on this particular game? I play it with three tabs open at minimum, and for me actively playing means using lolmarket controls every 10 minutes between getting my daily lolcats and playing other games on Kongregate.

A stack is FILO (ergo, you can’t change a stack to FILO). FIFO=Queue, FILO=Stack

You are of coarse correct. For the sake of people who don’t understand the difference between a stack and a queue at all, let me illustrate what the change would mean with an example.

Suppose after playing any spell there was a 1 second window where counter-spells could be played. If counterspells can be countered then this would delay things even further. You could no longer have each turn be 10 seconds flat, and nobody wants to FURTHER delay the FCG. So if you keep the rounds at 10 seconds things get wonky. First off, if you play a creature in the last second of the round it won’t even attack, which means Awesome Face is either 16 damage or zero depending on when you play it. Also giving a counterwindow while maintaining 10 second rounds means the AI could play something at let’s say 8.9 seconds into the round and if you counter it the AI could use the next turn’s resources to counter your counter. The game changes irrevocably.

A queue counterspell could work, though I don’t know much fun it would be. Such an ability would be longer than you would want on a card even if you don’t make a generator exclusion, and if I can throw away a superfluous generator to stop conterspells that makes them worthless. So for counters to work properly, the definition of “spell” would have to be clearly defined to exclude generators and instant color. The other alternative is to make a spell that undoes the last spell cast, but that has its own problems. If I play a creature then plan to perma-monster it but the AI destroys it, there could be a spell that brings my creature back to life. But what if the AI plays a kill spell then casts a worthless creature? Now the counter kills the creature which I don’t care about.

But if you get past that, then what? Every CCG that includes counterspells includes spells that specifically can’t be countered. I suggest that if you have a problem that counterspells would fix, instead address the problem in some other way. I would like to see Perma-monster have a confirm message if you have no creature. As annoying as it is that the AI can kill my creatures faster than I can perma-monster them I don’t want a game overhaul.

I have 15,000 adventure reputation and that is usually the high score I notice. I have some close competitors some times, but the next closes above me are 100K and 200 million. (Hi Xscorpion1k and TecknozThaBezt, respectively) Since niether of these players had scores even remotely close to these yesterday they are quite obviously cheating, and hacking this game is like cheating at Solitaire. Why do it, and what’s more why brag about it?

So here’s my point. After the Epic Adventurer achievement, what good does high reputation do you? I’m one of the few people that has a high adventure reputation and has come by it honestly. Obviously some people feel it is worth cheating into the millions, but all I can think I can do with it is if I ever get boared of green coins entirely I can burn through my reputation for that adventure where you extend the progress bar. I still adventure mostly because I want to get the lomarket gems, and as soon as the Christmas tree becomes unavailable I’ll turn free trees into mystery trees. Is there some other use for high reputation? Maybe the problem is that I always pick the adventure option that gives the most reputation when there it’s a better idea to get more coins or something. I just want to know if I’m doing something wrong with my adventures.

Topic: Anti-Idle: The Game / FCG needs a counterspell counter

I too find myself annoyed every time I waste a perma-monster because my creature was killed far faster than I could have done anything to prevent, but adding counterspells ala Magic the Gathering would require a fundamental overhaul of the game. Magic uses a FILO stack, but the FCG is FIFO. A better fix would be for Perma-monster to not cast itself when you have no creature.

The only kind of counter-spells you could have in the TFG without changing the game irrevocably would be creatures that did something like that. For example, a blue creature that countered the next first non-generator, non-instant color spell your opponent casts. Afterwards the creature either loses the ability or dies. In MtG terms I would be talking about Hesitate. The only other thing you could do is make a spell that gives that ability to your creature.

Countermage (5 blue)
1/3 3hp
Countermage (The next time an opponent casts a non-generator spell, discard it without effect.)

That’s the text as it would fit on a card. The way it works is that whenever the opponent casts a spell other than a generator or instant-color card, it counters that spell and the creature loses that ability forever. And like Growth, for every ability a creature has you make a spell that gives it to your current creature.

That is the only way that you could do it without giving cards more text than fits on them or changing the stack to FILO. Weather it is a good idea to use counterspells at all is of coarse another matter entirely.

It would be nice if there were some other benefit to the decorations. Maybe Tukkun should take a note from Assassin’s creed and have you get some money every 20 minutes based on your decorations, or something like the Achievement Bonus but for your clothing. Definitely put Epic Skills on a higher priority than decorations besides the best pets.

You want features first, and selected pets. The first time you don’t have something clearly next on your list, go to epic skills. Hats and such can be taken care of after you get the mountain of unused coins. I only bought all the decorations because of the Christmas sale.

At some point yellow coins aren’t useful any more. If you do the math you’ll learn just how long you need to play before epic skills pay them self off, but you are going to buy them anyway.

I have all the epic skills. Then I got the mountain of unused coins. If it weren’t for epic skills I don’t know what I’d do with the coins I get now. But what I do use is the green coins, because I don’t have my battle arena stats maxed yet. And I use mystery points to raise the stats that I can’t with pixels any more. And I use my pixels for even more stats, having maxed attack and defense as far as you can buy in the shop I’m not on HP. Next will be MP. And because of the spic skills, I have a 30% chance of each progress giving me another progress and each one of those has so much chance of giving green coins, mystery points, and pixels.

And when I heard about the Christmas sale on decorations I saved up a lot of money and bought them all, and the last of the lolmarket upgrades. I was disappointed it only went 10 after the achievement, I was expecting the lolmarket to be uncapped or at least go to 100.

Anyway, I have 1200 explosion crates because money matters that little. Just buy the epic skills. The money and progress first, printer next if you idle a lot. I think it might be optimal to just buy the cheapest skill each time, but if you don’t care about mystery points then don’t buy that skill until last.

Topic: Anti-Idle: The Game / Poll: Premium Sword VS. Banhammer

I like the banhammer. It’s easiest to enchant, just give it speed only. A speed enhanced banhammer is better than attack enhanced premium sword. Anyway, if you have access to the shop that gives you the banhammer you can also give it contributor (like I have) for a pretty awesome weapon.

It also bears mentioning that the banhammer is really cheap. If you want to give a weapon those speed +2 enchantments, not only does the banhammer get the most improvement but its low cost give you more attempts. And doing it on the speed +2 day is a huge save on pixels compared to using twice as many speed +1 enhancements because of all the broken weapon costs.

I’m playing the FCG, using an Elite Crab / Perma-monster deck. I have 3 attack and 12 defense. I play a second Elite Crab, and a second perma-monster. My opponent uses Weaken, which should take my crab to 0/12 and thus my stats to 3/24. Instead I go to 1/24. Apparantly Perma-Monster thought I wanted to add -2/12 to my stats.

I’m over a thousand. All I hope is that the crates don’t explode. Imagine how much it would suck if every crate opened had a some chance to destroy all of your other explosion crates. Disclaimer: The above is a purely hypothetical scenerio not based on facts real or imaginary. It is for trolling purposes only. It is not a suggestion for Tukkun to screw me out of billions of yellow coins.

But seriously, after you buy epic skills and get the mountain of coins achievement what good are yellow coins? Anything these boxes give is pure gain for people who don’t need yellow coins any more. I would be mad if they turn out to be total garbage, but it won’t be as bad for me as anyone who spent a significant amount of money instead of investing in epic skills or lolmarket expansions. There is bound to be that one thing that is awesome and crates are the only way to get, so no matter what they are going to be bought in mass. I don’t know if there is a maximum you can have, but I would like to reach it before the crates get implemented.

@Angried – I don’t see what your deck is supposed to do. Razor Mantis is only useful in decks with few creatures, since otherwise you get a hand full of useless creatures. Elite Crab overcosted without perma-monster, and you only have one of each. I’m also pretty sure you need to rethink your generators. When the most expensive yellow card I use is time warp I don’t even use yellow generators, and I don’t see it being worth it for just one big daddy. My current deck is about 50 cards and has 7 (upgraded) Time warps and no yellow generators. I also wouldn’t touch rainbow generator with a 10 foot pole.

You use mutate and rebirth, add transform and get more copies. Use creatures that cost as little as possible, with the upgraded white bug being ideal. If you keep your costs low you can run a random creature deck with no generators. I have a more expensive version to show off here, but I’m sure you can find a budget version:

3 (Upgraded)
1 (Rare/Upgraded) Fire Sparkle
4 (Upgraded) Elite Ant
2 (Upgraded) Elite Yellow Ant
1 (Upgraded) Elite Blue Ant
2 (Upgraded) Meteor Rain
7 (Upgraded) Time Warp
4 (Upgraded) Transform
3 (Upgraded) Greater Heal
4 (Upgraded) Rebirth
2 (Upgraded) Ice Bolt
3 (Upgraded) Mutate
2 (Upgraded) Monster Break
1 Stat Wipeout
3 (Upgraded) Flaming Arrow
4 (Upgraded) Blade
2 (Rare) Cure
1 (Rare/Upgraded) Zombify

I worked on it more once I got 7 Awesomefaces, but I wouldn’t aspire to that when you have problems with level 2’s. Anyway, this general model should be good for you until you want to challenge level 8’s. I did beat level 8 twice with a variant of this deck (with 5 state wipeouts) but I wouldn’t recommend following my footsteps there.

Half your deck is energy generation. That’s not good. For reference, take a look at the deck I posted. 17 energy, 26 others. You really don’t want that much energy production.

Also, Defense UP is nigh worthless, in my opinion. It does nothing to help you kill your opponent. Healing or regeneration are superior.

Defense is good, you just need a lot of it. Admittedly I wouldn’t touch the Defense UP / Permamonster combo with a 10 foot pole, but crabs are good for this sort of thing.

Generally when I perma-monster an elite crab I don’t take any damage for the rest of the game. I’m currently rocking a 148 win streak battling level 4 opponents, and I do get some close calls when I get utterly wretched draws but this deck wins by defense.

My deck isn’t of much use to Biggums425, principally because of the 7 Awesome Faces, but a perma-crab deck could be done cheaply and effectively. Note that if your deck focus on a few colors and you have generators for them (in my deck this is red and blue only) you can use a lot of off-color cards with no generators for that color. I was running 14 genrators, but got tired of having one improved zombify that didn’t do anything most games so I just turned it into another red generator.

I was at negative money for a couple minutes today. I used tab in the shop to select the explosion box and held down space (to save myself from having to click what turned out to be 800 times) and somehow I was able to spend myself into negatives. There wasn’t a minus in front, but my cash amount was a bunch of 9’s and shortly thereafter I wrapped back around to be near broke but in the black.

Topic: Anti-Idle: The Game / Next Battle Arena balancing: Your opinion is needed.

I want to stress that I hate monsters that ranged spam weaken. It defeats the whole point of having hitpoints when monsters either do 1 damage to my 350K total or when I’m weakened they kill me in one hit. What is the purpose of having monsters do this?

Let me use an example. Shocked Face uses Weaken around once every two seconds. I don’t believe the wiki which says it has a 1% chance of weaken, I’ve been weakened twice in the same second. This means items designed specifically against weaken are useless. If it weren’t for Weaken I could idle on Smiley Island; nothing there hurts me except for Shocked Face. And when I do kill one, the weaken duration usually means that the next monster that comes out will one hit kill me even when I Zeal myself to full HP.

I have the same problem with Triangle Land. I got the Pirate Ship achivement 56 days ago, playing at least 12 hours every day since then. I got wrecked by Super Triangle enough that I thought that maybe I wasn’t ready for that new zone, so I got the missions for the fire and ice areas, secret beach, mystic path, and ship interior. I dumped an insane number of green coins into arena power packs and over tripped my HP since then. I now can not buy up defense in the arena shop because it is so high. I can idle on Impossible in the Pirate Ship, so one might assume I could idle on medium in triangle land. Super Triangle still can kill me from full hp. The wiki doesn’t mention that he weakens, but he does something that takes my HP max down to 20% thus making it impossible to idle. It doesn’t help that other monsters in the area weaken with a long enough duration to last into the next fight.

Just don’t make monsters that ranged spam attacks that the player version has 800 delay. There are other ways to make monsters hard. I could stand attack debuffs, but it’s the defense debuffs and also the rediculous scale that has me irate. I’m sick of level 30 godly attacks with a ban-hammer doing virtually no damage because of weaken, seemingly less than an auto-fight attack without weaken. And if you must use weaken, could monsters reduce stats based on some number rather than a percentage? That would make my countless upgrades feel more relevant.

In case anyone is wondering, my attack is 45328, min damage 1501384, max 6125644, defense 50308, DR 10% + 139537. Accuracy 20% + 4664, evasion 4668, HP 350310, MP 68827. My weapon is a speed 8 Banhammer, 300 attack. This assumes wearing the ring of protection.

I’m not a huge fan of 7smartone7’s app to increase progresses while doing something else online as an absolute, but it wouldn’t be too bad if there was something that would let you post on this forum while still being inside anti-idle so you could participate in these sort of discussions and/or just troll with full anti-idle progresses. I don’t think you should get that kind of benefit while playing other games or searching for porn, but I wouldn’t mind seeing some means of encouraging more players to join in these conversations and giving some in-game benefit such as letting them anti-idle while doing so isn’t bad. Heck, you could attach some stupid achievement to it if you wanted EVERYONE to visit the forums, but that would be possibly going too far.

I got 700, which I’m pretty proud of considering how weird my deck was. I think it would make a great level 4 or 6 deck, though strangely it wouldn’t be helped much by being level 7. The idea is no generators at all, tons of cheap creatures and Mutate / Transform effects. It is an amusing change of pace from the perma-monster or poison decks but it’s not a deck you use to get 50 win streaks. But it could break those streaks, being able to get a turn one flame mosquito or whatnot. A later evolution used Awesome Face, and let’s say that Awesome Face, Rebirth, and Time Warp make a pretty good opening hand. I wonder if an AI would be able to play it well enough, but I suppose I could PVP myself to find out. But anyway, I hope to see it or something similar as an AI deck at some point.

A pet that refunds a small amount of red coins when you feed it. You would have to make the hunger fairly slow as to make it not the singly best pet ever, but for players who have 995 red coins left after the refund it would be a nice way to get another pixel box. If you really want to be sneaky, you make this pet cost red coins or be EXTREMELY expensive in the decoration shop (and not have a high resale price) but be available in the VIP shop for like 1,000 red coins. It is worth noting that a red coin pet like this won’t let players unlock new features but would allow more FCG cash, pixel boxes, etc.

Suggested red coin gain of Square root of level, rounded up. If the feed cost is low but the hunger rate is high then you can assume the amount you get is more a function of time spent than money, so for example 1% hunger per hour. This would be the ideal let for level 9001 players full-time but me at level 3240 I’d be spending 3 hours out of every however-long to turn my current 895 into another pixel box. As soon as I get the mountain of coins achievement that I’m presently working on my red coin remainder after spending all red coins on pixel boxes will be 60, so the usefulness of a pet like this fluctuates greatly over time. Level 9001 players that feed their pets once an hour would be getting a pixel box every 10 hours which is probably better than any other pet because it can get you something no other pet can.

I got my coins now. I didn’t count them, but I know that when I spend my coins in the VIP shop I have more leftover after pixel boxes. I could calculate them but I’m awful lazy. I wonder what the number received is based from if people have gotten between 400 and 700.

But yeah, the Zebra pays itself off in eventual time. The difference between 1400 and 1100 boosts is +60% coins and experience (14X progress speed times 14X coins and experience per progress is 196X default where 1100 boost max is 121X, 196/121 = 1.6198)

BTW I have a strange question, don’t know if its relevant. I have 1404% boost max and don’t know how I got the last 4 percent. When I click on my boost bar it says temp 0, zebra 100, and I have the 1100 upgrade so I don’t know where the last 4% comes from.
