Topic: General Gaming / Recovering Civiballs Save

Well… The game file was renamed from civiballs.swf to civiballsKong.swf resulting in data loss for everyone. The saves are found here.
…\chat.kongregate.com\gamez\0004\1600\live

Just take the files from \civiballs.swf\ and put them in \civiballsKong.swf\

I know there is a topic out there that betters explains this process. Can someone please post the link?

Topic: Off-topic / Dissections

Well in biology today, I dissected a pig and played with its brain— It is squishy.

What animals have you dissected before and what did you think of your experiences.

Starfish- I’ve dissected one of these in 7th grade. It was stiff, stinky and tough to cut.

Frog- I dissected a frog in 7th grade right after the star fish. It was a lot easier to cut and had more interesting organs to look at.

Pig- This one was the stinkiest of all. But it had the most interesting organs. Having a wannabe Surgeon in your lab group is great to have when dissecting one of these when you don’t want to damage any organs.

Topic: General Gaming / Retrieve old Feudalism 2 Save

Sorry, I don’t have Vista Ultimate. All I have is Vista Home and Windows XP. I’m sure it should be the same in all the versions but if not, can someone find out for each version and post them.

Topic: General Gaming / Retrieve old Feudalism 2 Save

It’s only for those who had a game before the update and lost their files.

The folder is a random jumble of letters and numbers. Just navigate to Macromedia\Flash Player\#SharedObjects\ then the folder will be there.

Topic: Kongregate Labs / Shootorials #0, #1, and #2 with Free Tools - mtasc and swfmill

Being too lazy to create a class that places my clips, I exported each movie clip as its own swf and imported all of them in the xml. Thanks for introducing these programs to me. I can finally work on my game at school directly from my flash drive.

Does anyone know how to import a drawn movieclip from a swf into the library?

Topic: General Gaming / Retrieve old Feudalism 2 Save

I bet many of you played Feudalism 2 on the first day and were surprised the next day to see your precious file lost. There is a way to retrieve it.

Windows XP

Navigate to C:\Documents and Settings\<user>\Application Data\Macromedia\Flash Player\#SharedObjects\

You will see a folder with a string random letters and numbers. Click on it.

Then navigate to

C:\Documents and Settings\<user>\Application Data\Macromedia\Flash Player\#SharedObjects\<string>\chat.kongregate.com\gamez\0002\7459\live

_If you don’t see Application Data, Check the “Show Hidden Folders and Files” option at Tools>Options>Folder Options>View

There you will see a folder that says feud_101k.swf. Rename that folder to F_101k.swf. If F_101k.swf is already there, *delete it first.

*Note this will delete all saved data after the update.

Windows Vista

Do the same as above but the “Macromedia\Flash Player\#SharedObjects\” folder will be found at C:\Users\<user>\AppData\Roaming

Mac

Do the same as Windows XP but the folder will be found at Hard Drive>Users>username>Library>Preferences
Thanks to kamahl928

Topic: General Gaming / The irRegular Game of Life Hint

I bet many are stuck on level 42 on irRegular Game of Life. Here is a hint:

Google the Name Level.
See how many blocks are in the first generation. Use that figure out what you can make to achieve the level goal.
