Dinowaurs nominated for E4 award
Why would we vote for this? The ranked matches haven’t worked for the longest time. It is preventing me from getting some badges. Brokenest game ever.

WE NEED A CHRISTAN CHAT ROOM!
As probably >9000 people have already offered, creating a new topic-centric chat room is probably not going to happen.
Easy explanation is thus:
You want a Christan room. Fine. But then we have all other religions, so we have to make eleventy-two more rooms. But then why do we deny something else, like an AO room? Well, they could do that, but there’s no real protection to make sure that people under the age of 18 cannot get in. Also, we’d have to make a childrens, tweens, teens, and old fogey room. Lets make a room for cars? Ok, but lets also make a room for motorcycles, buses, trucks, SUVs, tanks, boats, planes, and mine carts. How about a music room… no, this is going to be too difficult. Lets go with music genres. Greg, could you kindly whip up rooms for Pop, Gospel, Country, Rap, Rock, Metal, Alternative, Techo, Electro, Contemporary, World, Hip Hop, Trance, Disco, Polka, Deathcore, Screamo, Grunge, A Capella, RnB, Blues, Grindcore, Comedy, ElectroIndustrialClashPopBodyMusic and Ska? Didn’t think so.
Sorry OP, but I’ve got to say that I don’t see this ever happening. We do however have room owners, and as far as I know, they can change the descriptions and room names at will. Maybe you could petition your particular room owner, or maybe just a mod who wants to get on the bandwagon, to take over your room, and then moderate it as Christian only. Maybe Greg and the rest of the team will eventually allow anyone to make their own room, as long as the room disappears after everyone leaves. This way, the rooms don’t build up, people can have their private chat rooms with friends, and you still could have some stationary rooms that won’t disappear if everyone leaves, since they are “Kongregate” rooms.

Badges coming to Sacred Seasons -- share your input!
No, I gave the game several attempts and on two different systems to make sure the bugs and lag I experienced weren’t related to the machine/internet connection. There are so many features that are poorly done, that I wouldn’t even know how to suggest the developers fix it.
Maybe I’m just an elitist, but this really is one of the worst RPGs I have ever played. To name a few issues:
- The quest log is bulky, and unorganized.
- NPC’s are not memorable enough to remember where to turn in quests, so unless their right beside the quest area, you end up looking for them all over again.
- Combat is often unresponsive, but this may also be attributed to lag.
- For most of the quests, there really isn’t much variation, and this is a MAJOR MMO KILLER. After playing several MMOs (Lineage 2, WoW, Guild Wars, Sacred Seasons, Well of Souls), I have to say that only WoW has managed to break away from the Kill X of Y moster, Collect X of Y item. Granted, they still rely heavily on this mechanism, but often the quests have managed to switch the formula just often enough that it stayed interesting. Guild Wars stayed entertaining because of execution.
- Its much too easy to have people “walk” low characters through the game. Any good MMO has a system that prevents characters being walked through the game, so players actually have to PLAY. Not that it isn’t possible in games like WoW or Guild Wars, but Guild Wars made it easy to get to max level, so there was no “walking through” and WoW has an experience formula that will penalize you for running though with higher levels.

I have to agree with blood18. Sacred Seasons is a horrible, laggy abomination. Not only is it buggy, but it is a mile grind. This game incorporates all the irritating factors of RPG games and amplifies them to make one obnoxious lump of FAIL.
Instead of adding new badges, lets say we get on Intuition to fix Dinowaurs, so people can actually accquire the badges for that game. Or better yet, Delete dinowaurs and revoke the badges. And then we can talk about getting badges for some good games?

Kongai: Your verdict?
The inability to read numbers, much like people with dyslexia have trouble reading words and letters, is called dyscalculia. Researchers actually think that it may be more common than dyslexia, but rarely reported.
Dyslexia and dyscalculia are both learning disabilities in which the mind has difficulty in learning or comprehending the respective fields. For the estimated 5% of the population with dyscalculia, this means that they may mix up mathematical signs, have difficulty telling which number is larger, difficulty with times tables, difficulty judging the passing of time, and trouble with directions. In a more practical sense, these people may have trouble with budgets or even keeping score and turn orders for games.

Chat Room Concern
Greg,
I normally hear the same banter back and forth when people ask how to become a moderator. Normally its the speech about behaving, helping out other players, being respectful, and if the right person sees you (I’m pretty sure I heard it was one guy) then they may ask you to be a moderator.
A couple other websites I used to visit would make people go through a training period for being a moderator. Sometimes places have applications. Ultimately, the way Kongregate chooses to select their moderators is up to you, but I figured I would make some suggestions. It would be nice to see a few more moderators, though. I normally hang out in The Monument, and while its not too bad, we occasionally get a few people who decide that internet douchebaggery is their flavor of the day.
I personally do not mind seeing, or hearing a swear. I do myself. I do not believe in censorship or filters (since its easy enough to get around a text filter, why bother?). In my opinion, is that a level headed individual who can keep peace and not go power hungry is often the best option.
