I am having a conversation with an alternate account from a TPC guild member. Lamb2, hello.
I made comments to the low-level Alt showing my disdain. I was called a hypocrite. This is partially true. I drive over the speed limit a little, come to rolling stops, forget to put my parking sticker in the correct location, peek at next week’s spoilers, and many other egregious offences. When i find myself in a verbal altercation with an Alt account, I confess my sins. Now it is YOUR turn. Come on, you’ll feel better. ^__
By-the-by, I also eat sweets before dinner and caused the Planets of the Apes to happen. ( “YOU MANIACS! D@mn YOU!” )

A similar incident happened when i bought an Ammy several months ago.

I contacted Kong and the Devs and was told they would give me one.
Let’s see, that was 3 months ago….

I came back hoping things were different but they’re not.

Don’t mean to be so negative but when I get an email from the Devs telling me to check my inventory and still nothing done… i tend to get cranky.

My senior year i barely passed Trig… Freshman year in the univ. i took Trig again and got nearly the same grade… Next semester i took Calc and got an 3.6 or 4 ( i forget )… it doesn’t make any sense.

Point is: My Calc teacher was involved with the class and made sure we understood, even though we felt like a group of dumb@sses. That professor was one of the best teachers i ever had. :)

Arnoldt10, you present a commendable rebuttal. Actually the person’s logic is not flawed, rather limited to personal experience. In a narrow perspective his logic is complete for his own purposes ( his premise of “Stupid Premiums” . He tells the audience his idea or purpose. Then he expounds on the concept to form a rudimentary argument.
His path to reach these conclusions can be analyze or challenged. Obviously anoldt10 you disagree with the premise of his argument. In this, you should make note of jim’s idea and not begin with a non-constructive comment. Both of your statements have merit. I do like the to see both of you present supplementary non-empirical insight. I hope both of you can continue this discussion and come to a mutual understanding.

Honestly I don’t think I will continue to play a game where I am completely ignored. I dob’t expect special treatment, but this is ridiculous.

Last Sunday my character bought an Ammy but it only subtracted the fame and did not deposit one in my inventory or vault.

I have made several attempts to contact Devs and Kong but have not received and response.

It is not paramount if my fame gets refunded but I would appreciate some explanation to what happened.

I hate to be the ‘squeaky wheel’ but I am getting the sense that the Dev’s/Kong are apathetic to anything we submit (bugs, design flaws, ect… ).

Hope I am wrong.

Thanks don. I reported the error but I don’t know if i want to keep playing. If i get killed then the amulet won’t be very useful. :P
— My Pally is nearly maxed ( many Abyss solos) so honestly i really don’t want to do anything risky.

I went to buy an Amulet of Resurrection and clicked on the button. Nothing happened until 10 seconds later. My fame was decrease by 11500 but my inventory did not contain an Amulet. Has anyone had this happen to them? I’m sure it is just a glitch but it kinda freaked me out.

2 more thoughts:

-Make drops more dependent on damage to prevent zero drops to people doing the most damage. (my personal grudge. lol )

-Add Polymorph spell, ability, ect… Change into different character or monster with a slight increase in all stats ( temporarily ).

Was blown up mining in Omicron. repaired my ship, then went to Omicron again. Entered screen and was blown up again despite having 29 minutes of protection left. I was not firing at and ship, my ship hp just went to 0.

If you drop iron maiden sooner, do it when your Shrap Eng activates and/or 1-2 ogres. It makes a big difference.

While switching between ships the Retribution and the Noraft vessel, I received a notice that my power was not enough to carry the current gear. This is normal so I closed the hanger inventory display. The retribution ship was shown but I noticed a missing piece of equipment and the mining vessel. It was just gone. I thought, "how did that happen? " ( and some bad words may have been uttered too ). :)

Anyways The developers resolved my issue quickly, so that was pretty cool. :)

P.S. I was also attacked while noticing this… so I was a little upset. 1 ship gone, 1 ship ‘blowed-up’ , 1 sad player. :P

The thing with lag is to accept that you are going to die ( from lag, then monster madness/lava bath ). I have seen very skilled players ( maxed or near-maxed stats ) suddenly die… no warning. It is one thing to run crazy through godlands but it is very frustrating to put time and effort into something that is basically 1 second from a lag-death. Sorry this sounds depressing but it is the reality of this game. I have raged out many times ( btw just lagged death my wizard. hehe ) when I am maxing stats then suddenly.. dead. I just roll with it and try to save equipment ( or stat pots ) for my next character. Hope that helps.

I’m sure this has been brought up before but I wanted to reiterate that raids need to have an additional feature. This feature would allow persons to be removed from a raid if their score is zero, certain time period has elapsed, or some other benchmark ( or a combination of benchmarks ). I have been playing a lot but have been very frustrated by people joining raids, then for whatever reason never contribute. I believe this added feature could also be modified for other purposes as well, but i digress. Thank you for your consideration.
