Probably a bug/ unintended:

When using a free respec, Vaagur is no longer amongst the first roll. Also, rerolls can still give the same results as the original roll.

Small correction:

All Ancients that affect skill duration (Berserker, Chawedo, Energon, Hecatoncheir, Kleptos, Sniperino) increase their respective skill’s duration by a flat + 2 seconds per level (max level 30 for all of them), not by a percentage.

Suggestion: rerolls should exclude all Ancients that were selected during the previous roll. If you wanted any of them, you’d have chosen them already.

More often than not, a reroll results in 2-3 of the previous Ancients plus one or two new ones. On top of that, for any given account all rolls are set in stone, there is no new random seed on reroll, meaning that if it takes you 10 rerolls to get anything decent it won’t change, no matter how many times you import your save.

Cost of unlocking your 1st to 26th Ancient:
1, 2, 4, 8, 16, 35, 70, 125, 250, 500, 800, 1200, 1700, 2200, 2750, 3400, 4100, 5000, 6000, 7500, 10000, 12500, 16000, 20000, 25000, 31000

Ancient effects and level caps:
Vaagur ( – 5% cooldown, max lvl 15)
Kumawakamaru ( – 1 monster req to advance zones, max lvl 5)
Dogcog ( – 2% hero hire/upgrade cost, max lvl 25)
Mammon ( + 5% Gold dropped, no max)
Atman ( + 1% Primal chance, max lvl 25)
Solomon ( + 5% hero souls, no max)

During the test, Centurion bosses were not considered Primals, since they are guaranteed encounters at levels 100, 200, 300, etc. This might have changed.

Another explanation would be that it actually shows you the correct amount of Hero Souls you get, already taking Solomon into account.

Let me start with this: i like the general ideas of this update. It’s awesome. The problem is with those numbers.

EDIT: I spoke too soon. At first it looked like you went with 2^(n-1) for buying ancients, like it was during the test, which would have been a bad idea. While i still think the numbers are a little high, it’s got a much more satisfying progression now. Will have to play more for qualified feedback, but i’m happy for now ;)

Stampede counts your hero as ally, that’s why it gives 1x 25% to activate Serpent Altar and does [number of allies +1] total damage. Serpent Altar does not activate on any of your standard allies’ stampede attacks.

Same thing with Bene/Male, which count your hero/the enemy hero as well.

Topic: War of Omens / Inconsistencys in rebalanced gilded scribe?

Post-change Gilded Scribes apply 1 charge per own charge randomly divided between 1 to 3 of your cards that can hold charges, on the field or in hand. Any card that can hold charges is a viable target, not just inscriptions. The cards do not have to be on the field, so you likely didn’t notice it applying a charge to one of your cards in hand. It does not seem to ever waste any charges on maxed cards.

If there’s a specific change you disliked, which one was it? When enough people feel strongly that some nerf went overboard, the Devs have shown that they’re willing to re-rebalance it (as seen with Raktaba’an’s ability for example).

During the first match of the draft, turns of both players were randomly skipped and cards were autoplayed. During the second match “Suuljin has been slain by X” randomly appeared between rounds multiple times and the screen greyed out, with several cards still in deck.

My biggest gripe is with the upgrade price system as well. There’s no use hiding it behind nice words: it’s horrid. It’s an abomination. It ruins what is a pretty nice game in almost every other aspect. Having one upgrade influence all other upgrades’ prices punishes experimenting with different weapons/setups and forces you into specific builds early, which is silly and boring. Resetting only treats the symptom. Make later levels more expensive, have different costs for different upgrades, but don’t screw over players who want to experiment.

The other thing i found a little strange was being offered crewmembers several times and being told each time that they were hired by other players already. If they aren’t actually available, don’t offer them to me.

Topic: Kongregate Multiplayer Games / [The Grinns Tale] Nerf the nerf to ID

Could you please review the nerf? If you want to farm materials targetted farming of specific tower floors is a lot more efficient. There is just no reason to visit the dungeon other than the unique enemies/drops. Slugging through dozens of floors without finding any is disappointing.

A suggestion: how about making a checkpoint every 20 floors that allows us to start deeped in the dungeon once we reached it. That would take care of the most boring part of grinding through the first couple of floors over and over.

Getting refined equipment is not guaranteed. You can increase your chances by using as many villager actions as possible and by using refined equipment in the recipe (for advanced gear), but even then it’s not 100%.

Yes, when i said i played daily for over 5 weeks i indeed meant every day.

I mentioned the 6 callissa items mainly because they prove that it was 5+ complete weeks, not 3 weeks, hence i was wondering why i only have 3 idols, instead of 5.

Could anyone look into this please?
