Galactus solos.

That said, according to SW wiki, there are over 20 million sentient species in the galaxy. Feats stop mattering at this point.

Telepathically smell blood? ****! Hey… how come someone on these forums would know the answer to that if marine biologists on google don’t? Sorry if that sounded trollish; I do what I must and I must do what I… must.

Try Demon’s Souls…

Frampt – Dark Souls

Neither boss nor enemy, but still the creepiest thing I’ve ever seen by physical definition in any game I can currently think of.

Elemental dps in the first one for Siren absolutely sucked, but word on the street has Cataclysm for B2 is going to be 10 times stronger this time around. Plus, phaselock = OP. 3 more days!

Plus split-screen online :3

Topic: Kongregate Multiplayer Games / TDP5 Team Battle

I don’t really care about a TDP5, but if one was made, I’d like some PVE action included. Instead of grinding against non-lagging super players, give us a chance to grind against something a little less rage invoking… Not to mention team objectives against AI is always a fun thing to experience.

Topic: Kongregate / Tournaments

Could be user-made so mods and admins don’t have to keep an eye on them and its not like you’d have to actually compete if you don’t want to. Tourneys that are played with points and ranks wouldn’t be that bad of a use.

Topic: Kongregate / Tournaments

Just outta curiosity here- has Kongregate ever considered using tournaments like so? And if you did, and decided not to- any particular reason as to why not?

Topic: Kongregate / Comment censure

Fortunately, people with honest-to-goodness support to help games are usually the ones who get upped in the long run. While trolls and people with nothing but foulness to say are generally downed, saving admins from having to filter through every single little comment. If its really bad though, you can flag someone for abuse and they can come in to have a look at it. Its not a perfect system, but it does work for the most part. At least, that’s how I believe it works. =P

Hmm… How would it be ripe for abuse? Friends can share with other friends, or strangers, or whoever they want, and everyone benefits. Thats all there is to it.

You’d be surprised how many people lose their accounts because they gave their password away. If users were allowed to transfer Kreds between accounts, it’d open up abuse for fraud and account stealing that’d be more trouble than it is worth.

Accounts with or without high kred amounts can already be stolen in the same way and put on developer accounts via donating, can’t they? All you’d need to do is make/publish a mule game, get the passwords to the harvesting accounts, then donate to your own games. I might need a bigger picture to follow if I’m still off…

Topic: Off-topic / If Icebergs are Ice How Did The Titanic Sink?

Off the top of my head – Iron/steel hull susceptible to cold temperature’s making it brittle against extreme force. Angle of hitting iceberg. Velocity. Heard that one about an egg that can pierce a brick wall at the right speeds and angle, dunno if that’s true, but the same theory can apply to this. Super mass vs. super mass. Unstoppable vs. immovable.

As far as the whole ‘molten metal bullet’ thingy goes… You’re dealing with a blade of plasma. You wouldn’t be talking about superheating to the point of melting… You’d be talking about superheating to the point of complete destruction… Either vaporization or conversion of the base materials into part of the plasma stream

Also, an electromagnetic field strong enough to deflect another field (one strong enough to contain a ball of plasma or directed energy beam) would quite likely prevent any (incredibly slow on a relative scale) magnetic projectiles from quote far away. Even flying energy charges would send common bullets spiraling away during flight…

What about shotguns? O_o

…………………………………………………………………..

Fire rate vs. bullet velocity?

Ugh, dominated by logic again. How. Ev. Er! It ain’t always the biggest who wins. Cosmic radiation on a super massive level, or a simple strain of the flu virus that happens simultaneously, or maybe just a moment of insanity by one person at the focal point can tip the scales. Anything can happen! Anything. Try to refute it.. just try.

I can assure you that when it comes out, it’ll be good. These are all excellent ideas, especially unlockables for reaching a certain level.

We want it to be something perfect for everyone, and also reasonably doable by the programmers, so our brainstorming will pay off! :)

Topic: General Gaming / Star Wars VS Halo with would win?

Not looking at pages 1-43. Just saying what I believe would occur.

Master Chief vs. any single Jedi is a toss up. Jedi’s have unbelievable skills, one of which that must absolutely be taken into account in any battle: foresight. Despite that and everything else they have going for themselves, they – and yes, the clones proved it – can be taken out by common foot soldiers. Few will refute the fact that MC has the devil’s luck when it comes right down to it and no matter how great a Jedi may be, luck is still an important factor and has proven time and time again, that all one really needs is a great deal of it to win a fight. Hence MC vs. Jedi = toss up. However, the question actually was ‘Star Wars VS Halo’, which can be assumed as not being a one on one fight. In the end, Star Wars takes the cake… that is assuming they don’t tire out before the fight is finished. And not adding every single character from each verse…

P.S. Btw, Jedi can’t block ore based ammunition with lightsabers.. it would hit the light/laser based blades and go right through as liquid, burning metal. Least I’d think it would at the speed the rounds would be flying. Doesn’t mean they can’t dodge it though; foresight. ;)

Topic: Off-topic / Fanfiction: Harems vs. Character Devolpment

This is honestly more along the lines of testing what I perceive as natural and odd. Don’t ask how, don’t ask why. It may or may not become a topic I make in SD at a later date. Answer either Harem or CD as is your general preference. Nothing else matters. Don’t explain. Don’t add. Don’t aggravate. And make no mistake, this is intended to be an OT thread.

Blame it on Christianity for promoting eternal punishment even for momentary slips (“I slipped once already, I’m damned, so why not live a life of sin?”) alongside eternal forgiveness disregarding actions (“if you believe in J., all your sins don’t count”, as in “go kill another infidel, you still remain a faithful BELIEVER”).
Jokes may be jokes, but that’s where the modern human gets his idea of HELL. :DDD
(Well, I as a Jew, believe in rather “it’s never too late to change back”. :DDD )
NOTE:
I’m not a big expert on Christianity – so CONTRADICT me, I’m eager for it!

I’m no expert in Christianity either, just another passing observer of the human species giving my two cents.

Humans absolutely LOVE what they can’t have, I’m no exception, especially if it makes my life easier, or better yet, it becomes something I can hide behind it. I will admit there is a possibility of there being a god of some sort out there with a grand master plan, but I will also admit there is a possibility that the very first signs of such religions only came about because someone wanted to play a practical joke on somebody. Though.. it is far more likely that it was a bid for power if that were the case rather than a joke. There is also the possibility that somewhere in there, it was created to simply inspire fear, to feel fear. Who doesn’t love a good scare, yeah? That’s also human nature. Or maybe it was an act by humans, to control humans, not to gain power, but to save humanity from something someone saw further down the line. And maybe it all went wrong somewhere along the way….. y’know, I do believe I’ve gotten off topic.. or maybe I was never on it.

“You never had control, you only thought you had it! An illusion, tabibu juhu! And what do you control – for sure, huh? The volume on your stereo? The air conditioning in your car? What else? WHAT ELSE?” – Dr. Ethan Powell

I’m really getting into this, huh! ;)
